I designed a deertaur and posted it here and I randomly came across the art on the right and went YES!!!!

The concept of "of you don't love me at my worst you don't deserve me at my best" is actually so important.

Alastor struggles with certain emotions, he doesn't always do so good. Scurri would hold him if it felt more comforting. Wrapping her tail on him. I frame it as a type of grounding during a panic episode. Pet the giant squirr, soft squirr.

Scurri goes through torpor. Honestly I projected my depressive episodes into it. (Managed much better now) Sleeping and feeling like it costs too much energy to keep eyes open. Sometimes I just wanted someone to check up on me. I frame this as she sleeps for like 48 to 72 hours and groggily wakes up for 24 hours then goes back to sleep. For around 3 weeks. Deer boy pops in, time, place and location was hard to place during my episodes.

Men in Alastors time averaged at 5' 8" and I'm 6' and while genetics can be a wild card I think it's delightful if he's a short king that can drag a dead body.

But also that means my clothes would be oversized and long on him. 🥰
