“Hey! Leave him alone!” Someone jumped down from the trees in front of him. 'Yuma Tsukumo!' Durbe thought, taking a step back. Yuma stood in front of him, arms spread out to… defend him? Astral was there too, and- 'Polaris!' Durbe’s eyes widened as Yusaku jumped down from the tree as well. The bear roared, and Polaris growled back at it, stalking forward and keeping eye contact with the bear. 'What are you doing?! Polaris this isn’t like arguing with Girag!' Durbe thought in alarm. But the bear was starting to back off, its eyes looking at Polaris and Astral. Deciding it wasn’t a fight worth having, the bear fell back on all four paws, lumbering away with Polaris still growling. “Didn’t know Barians could growl.” Yuma whispered, sounding impressed. “Heh… guess he couldn’t 'bear' that fact either.”
