the strong stench of vital fluid mixed with red human blood reached your nose as you continued to dodge the hits of the corrupted surrounding you and lee, even a thousand shouts from lee telling you to stay back didn't stop you from entering the battlefield to keep him safe. he punched the ground with his fist as he continued to shout for you to come back, he was frustrated that he got tired and fell down from the battle. you could not bear to see him shouldering all of it while waiting for the other two members to reunite with both of you. lee could not bear to see you throwing yourself in battle just like that and that caused him to panic, he took in every detail, cuts and cuts and cuts on your delicate skin that he wished he could run his thumb over and heal it with his lips but he see you fend off on your own with the last of the corrupted and fell with it's damaged body. you had fought the corrupted and when all was done, so were you. lee saw how the commandant crawled to him, dragging their bloody human body to the damaged construct, lee remembered how they struggled to sit beside him and place their head on his shoulders told him words of comfort. It was like they tried to erase the terrible outcomes that will happen next, like they were reassuring not only him but the commandant themselves. he was afraid to talk, afraid that when he asks a question - silence would be the reply. and when lee had woken up and his frame fixed he shouted your name, asked for you when he saw lucia and liv beside him and they looked at him with an emotion too human. at night when lee was alone, your voice lingers in the silent night until it became a memory. he wanted you to haunt him, bring him down below where you are. he envied that death had wrapped itself on you before he could do so.

the doctors said that there were multiple wounds - too many of them, that you had lost too much blood and that you were beyond saving. they said that you continued to fight and tried to live even if you knew you didn't have a chance against death itself. the doctor even silently wept for you, pitied your state because who would want to survive in this barren world? why struggle to stay alive despite all odds? but you knew the answer, deep down when you were hanging on a thread of your life was your last thought, lee. the doctor didn't know it was all because you wanted to see the sunrise once more, wanted to fight beside liv, lucia, and lee once more, to play with kamui once more, and to find small little details about the construct you loved so much. all because of the construct you loved so much.

mission after mission, kamui continued to become the sunshine of your team - you couldn't help but smile at him every time he starts talking and he couldn't help but continue to talk whenever you do, even if kamui was always talkative - he was more talkative now and that annoyed Lee to the metal but seeing you enjoying yourself with kamui's blabbers, he could not do anything.

it was like having a puppy around, kamui would look serious when you saw him afar but when his eyes lands on your figure, the shine in his eyes could be seen miles away and you would be lying if you didn't imagine a wagging tail behind him as he sprint towards you.

it was one of those days where you and your team had been given rest and kamui came looking for you, telling you about his morning and how strike hawk was also given a chance to rest after the continuous missions. he then talked about this new video game he saw, wanting to try it with you, you asked what game it was and he started avoiding your eyes.

"it's .. hm .. how do i say it? its a romance game .." you stared at kamui in disbelief, romance game with you? is he that comfortable with you or something else? kamui had bit lit lip and looked at you confidently, "i want to play romance games with you." he said and you continued to stare at him and due to your gaze was when he started blabbering and making up excuses with his face slowly beaming with a reddish hue, your eyes softened at him and kamui froze on his stop when he felt you held on his shoulders and lift yourself up slightly and he quickly closed his eyes and when he felt your lips on his, he was almost certain there was something wrong with his heat circulating system. when you pulled away, his eyes were still closed and you admired his features while waiting for him to open his eyes again. you smiled as you continued to admire him and somehow it felt illegal to do this in the middle of the corridor but the two of you were there with a lingering kiss. kamui slowly opened his eyelids and was now the one staring at you as if captivated by you but he was always been, then and now. the very short linger of your lips made a mark on his own and without yours lips on his felt like there was something missing. "I'll play the romance game with you. i'm free now, how about you?" you broke the silence and kamui tried to talk but to him, it was gibberish. what was he saying? before he could continue to go on and talk about nonsense nonstop, he press a hand on his mouth and slowly said, "I'm free now too, i'll wait for you at my room?" you smiled brightly, "sure! see you," and you started going to where your room was, kamui stayed there on his spot - the heat was not leaving his metal body.

"why would i celebrate something so boring?" would be his reply when you ask him what his surprise for you would be, and still, he would ask for kamui's help in what to do for you - slowly stressing out because of kamui's reply, "oh! why not watch the sunset together? romantic right?" and that did not satisfy him the slightest.

camu had thought, 'romantic? isn't it much more romantic if [y/n] and i do the do?' but that, unfortunately did not satisfy him fully. he roamed around babylonia and crossed his arms over his chest.

he really isn't a romantic person but he's positive that there is the slightest romance in his soul and he is going to use it on you. so he thoughts, what would you like? you were a simple person and did not ask much - camu cursed under his breath and groaned with frustration before sitting down on a bench, placing his elbows on his knees and his hands ruffled his gray hair. how frustrating it was to think of something to please you, flowers? rings? actually, it was not that he couldn't think of anything but all of the gifts that he had thought of - he wanted to give it all to you.

if only he could give you his blank heart for you to write whatever you wish on it.

there were soft taps on his shoulder and camu looked up to see a bright smile and their angelic voice, "looking so frustrated doesn't look good on you, you know." they said and camu rolled his eyes before pressing his back on the bench when you had sat beside him. "so tell me what has gotten you so frustrated." you said with a smile, turning your body towards him to let him know you're ready to listen. "..didn't i tell you not to look for me?" he said and he saw how you rolled your eyes, "you're changing the subject and of course i'm still going to look for you." he bit his lip and glanced away, tapping his feet on the ground repeatedly, "i was trying to think of a present for you," he muttered but you didn't quite hear it. "what? what were you thinking again?" you asked and he turned his head towards you with a frown. "i was thinking of a valentine gift for you, dammit." he growled and his face slightly flushed, you stared at him before covering your mouth with your hand, "you were really thinking about that?" there was a big smile behind your hand. "ugh! i just said it, do you have a problem with that?" he stood up and walked away from you, trying to cool off - there was just this hand stopping him from leaving, "don't leave! okay okay, i just found it .. cute, i'm sorry!" you quickly said and added, "but the question was only to tease you! you really don't have to give me anything .. spending time with you is enough." you said and gave a soft smile when camu had finally turned around to look at you.

camu thought maybe it was really enough, there was nothing that would be as special as spending time with you - but he would definitely think about kamui's suggestion and try it with you.

you knew of DILUC's hatred with the fatui, the abyss, you also knew of how he would go out at night and fight off the monsters in monstadt and how he would come home with wounds and his outfit sometimes ripped. this time, you followed him - you can fight, absolutely! you even almost knocked kaeya out when you went drinking.

DILUC had found another fatui hideout and you followed, keeping a large distance but him still within your sight. when he entered the hideout underneath an abandoned mine, you had bitten your lip as an unsettling feeling creeped into your veins.

perhaps still keeping a large distance was a bad idea when he had entered the mine, you stare at the hideout and scrunched up your nose in annoyance, it was full of passageway! you pressed your hand on the cold wall and looked around before shouting your lover's name, has he gone far? is he safe? you grumbled and started walking to a direction you think DILUC would pick.

the more you walk around, the more anxious you get - you don't know where he is and you can only hope that he is not wounded. you stopped for a while and finally heard the sound of weapons and -

"a fight," you whispered to yourself and ran into the direction of the sounds, "DILUC!" you ran until you finally see DILUC himself, fighting off the fatui skirmishers but you feel like he is completely worn out. "what are you doing here?!" "shut it!" you went quickly to his side and helped him fight, your hits were filled with anger and diluc stared at you as you hit the last fatui (who is knocked out with just one hit), DILUC sighed tiringly and slid down on the wall. "So .. you faked being asleep to follow me? you're so reckless .." he said but he showed a smile.

you frowned and kneeled before him, sighing as you tended into his wounds. you're still in the hideout but so what? you'll just fight off every enemy that you see and you'll win either way. after all of this, you looked at him and he did the same, "In every mission you go, take me with you. I want to take care of you too."

CHILDE frowned and press his fingertips on his forehead, he was stressing out and you could tell, CHILDE had to think of a strategy that would go perfectly with the next plan that the tsaritsa gave but he couldn't think of anything.

though he did thought of just defeating all of the enemies that will get in his way,

you had went by his side and placed your hands on his shoulders with a frown, though you're a fatui yourself - CHILDE's burden was ten times bigger than yours and he stayed up for two days already.

"ajax" you called out softly as you rubbed the back of his hand, "go rest, you'll eventually think of something when you wake up." CHILDE pouted as held your hand, "i need to finish this today." he said and looked up at you but only saw your lips formed into a straight line, he sighed and looked at the side, "mhm.. maybe a few more hours on this then i'll rest?" he said but you weren't satisfied. he panicked slightly when you didn't respond but you had dragged him out of his sit and pushed him onto his bed. "go to sleep, i'm worried about you - please."

you noticed THOMA had been clumsy lately and now you know why! he almost fell of the chair he was standing and you had caught him - he was burning up! so here you are sitting beside him, taking care of him while he laughed nervously and poorly trying to convince you that he is fine.

you made him miso soup for him, and you sighed as he finished the meal.

"[y/n] .. i'm alright, really! i'll take care of myself more," he gave you a smile, "i promise!" you rolled your eyes and gazed at him, "hmph, you better of i'll have to take care of you myself." you said before standing up from your seat and taking the new drenched towel before placing it on THOMA's forehead.

THOMA gave you a smile and muttered gibberish words, and slowly - sleep was taking over and his words stopped. you could only hear his soft snores and you press a soft kiss on his forehead.

when you had first saw him, he was sitting under the tree and on the snow ; it was bloody and soaked the white particles red but it was not his for you saw a dead wolf just near him and there did not seem any wounds on his skin. your eyes never failed you, you always believed.

you stared at him and took in his features, choppy orange hair with a few light streak in it and his eyes dull as if he had seen all the ugly of the world, he had a coat that was used by most of the people in snezhnayan and you wore the same.

the next time you saw him was when he was outside of a house that you assumed was his and he was gathering wood, maybe to keep the flame in the fireplace alive? you were outside for that reason and did not expect to see him again.

the woods were near his house and far from yours, you walked towards the trees as your steps were slow because of the snow that has thickened and when you had finally arrived in front of the trees then you started gathering twigs and sticks without noticing the man's eyes on you.

"it is getting colder each day." your turned to looked at your side as you saw the man smiling at you but it never reached his eyes, "gathering wood, comrade? i can give you some, i have too much already!"

you wanted to refuse but he had already gave you a portion of what he was holding, "is this really alright?" you asked him as you eyes gazed upon his deep blue ones and saw him nod.

that day, you had learned each other's names and he had invited you to hang out the next day, you went and you already saw him playing with the snow. you called out to him and he looked back with a smile as you walked towards him.

it continued to be like this, hanging out day after day, building snowmans or talking about each other, family (he had left them for a reason he cannot say yet), struggles, personal rants - it was never boring with him, he was like the sun that passed between the cloud's gaps and gave you warmth in this cold place.

the next day was different, ajax told you that he can fight - that he was born a warrior and was self-taught. he brought out spears from his shed and you looked at it - well-polished, fine and perfect for battle. it was as if he had been doing this since he was young you thought and quickly brushed it off the shiver

he let you watch him from the sides, he had took off his coat and mittens, he wore a dark gray turtleneck and you saw him lift the spear, ajax's eyes was sharp and never failing him ; the position of his shoulder was high, strong and perfectly balanced and he threw.

the spear hit the tree, deep in it's torso as you looked at the damaged tree - mouth moving with shock. amazement was the emotion on your face, ajax's chin was high, proud of his strength, "impressive, i know comrade!" he praised himself, and he never knew the adoration in the eyes that was watching him but maybe it was more than that, it was hard to tell. he continued to show you how he handle the spear ; his tall figure graceful and the sun shone over him, like every archon favored this man.

XIAO, a man that was hard to approach at first is your boyfriend, how? you can just ask him but all you'll ever get as a response is his blushing face while he looks away. He's quite reserved but slowly starting to open up more for you !!

he, in all honesty did not expect to be so captivated by you, when did it start? when he saw you in that coffee shop that you always went by yourself? you, also did not expect XIAO to confess first! you thought he would keep his feelings hidden until you confess first.

late night drives are expected, XIAO drives carefully and in a moderate pace and he likes this very much especially with you, it just makes it better and he would always try to make the drive a comfortable and enjoyable one.

you like the songs XIAO play while he drives along the highway - he would also roll down the windows and you could feel the cold breeze hit your face, you would hum or sing along and XIAO would just chuckle at your behavior with a hint of adoration.

that was not the only thing you liked about moments like this, sometimes it was how xiao looked handsome, gentle and cool altogether while driving with the windows down. XIAO's golden cat-split eyes on the road, his medium length hair fluttering with the wind and also how he would always take a quick glance at you and ask, "what is it? you want to eat something?"

can't you just adore him? you would pout at his response and respond, "i just like looking at you." you say with a smile and when you hear no reply, you can see his ears slightly red and his lips shut as if he's trying hard not to smile.

XIAO would always stop by a specific gas station with a convenience store and buy snacks with you, always telling you not to buy coffee so that you'll be able to sleep when you get home.

XIAO would always pay for you even if you insist that you pay instead, he's stubborn but he's cute, so that's fine.

some days, XIAO would surprise you with a call - reminding you to rest and eat on time and sometimes when he doesn't have anymore topics to talk about, he would take out his electric guitar and asks you if you want to see him practice a new song and if you agree - he would open his camera so you could see him.

though there would not be much talking, it's still feels comfortable and he would always feel much more motivated to have you see him practice. but of course, it would be much better if you were really there and not just on the phone.

artem would be early at the event just to buy something for you before you arrive, but he couldn't help but buy a box of different pastries for you as he remembered how cute you looked when you passed by a pastry shop near the law firm.

artem also saw a stall that is selling simple jewelries so when you arrived, he told you he wanted to look at something and so the two of you went !

"huh? artem, do you like wearing bracelets and necklaces?" you said as you looked at the jewelries - you didnt knew the man next to you liked such things. "it's for us," he said as he picked up a star pendant necklace and a moon pendant necklace and paid for it immediately as if he knows just how perfect it would be on you. artem helped you wear the star necklace and whispered softly in your ear, "my star."

you never knew he had it in him! the heat rushing up to your cheeks, is this the same calm and logical man? you were glued to the pavement as he looked at you with those blue eyes of his, full of emotion.

brought his camera just for you, he also did it for him too. the two of you would take tons of picture together and buy pizza from the nearby food court and back to going through what the event has in store for their visitors. he wanted to get as much picture from not only today but everytime he is with you.

luke saw how you were amazed by the man made ice castle. he smiled at you before tapping your shoulder,

when he thinks he got the gist of it, his brain fails him and would cuss out in annoyance

he's smart handsome but he's not a carpenter! he tells you

he would snicker at you for trying to help him build and it goes wrong

scaramouche would sigh and try to build the furniture again with a much calmer temper and smile to himself when he finally got half of it done after three (3) hours of working
