It was a typical day at the Armed Detective Agency, with everyone going about their usual business. Dazai, as always, was being his enigmatic self, making snarky comments and coming up with outlandish plans. But Ranpo couldn't help but notice that something seemed off with Dazai. He seemed more fidgety than usual, and there was a hint of vulnerability in his eyes that Ranpo had never seen before. Even if everything new, felt usual to him.

The same day, while everyone was gathered for a meeting, Dazai suddenly went quiet. He seemed to be withdrawing into himself, his eyes darting around nervously. Ranpo immediately noticed the change in Dazai's demeanor and knew that something was wrong. As the meeting went on, Dazai became increasingly nonverbal, barely responding to anyone and retreating further into his own thoughts. No one minded it too much, they knew it was not Dazai's fault, but no one else there had idea except for Ranpo.

Ranpo quickly pieced together what was happening. He knew that Dazai was regressing, and it wasn't something Dazai would want to reveal to the rest of the agency. So, Ranpo discreetly signaled to Dazai that he knew what was going on and that he was there to help. He knew he would understand it quickly.

After the meeting, Ranpo approached Dazai and gently guided him to a quiet corner of the office. He could see the distress in Dazai's eyes, and without a word, he reached out and hugged him, offering some of the comfort and reassurance he knew he needed right now. As Dazai's anxiety began to subside, he started to fumble with his words, unable to articulate what he was feeling. Ranpo, however, had spent enough time with Dazai to understand him (and his ultra deduction too) even when he was nonverbal. He knew that Dazai needed a sense of safety and security, so Ranpo took his hand and led him to a secluded area where they could be alone.

Sitting on the floor, Ranpo pulled out a deck of cards and started building a card house, knowing that the repetitive, structured activity would help Dazai calm down. Sure enough, Dazai's tense body started to relax as he watched Ranpo skillfully construct the card structure. It was fun for both of them and that's what actually mattered right now.

As the moments passed, Dazai found his voice again, and he whispered a quiet thank you to Ranpo, his eyes filled with gratitude. "thanks.. u..". Ranpo simply smiled and continued to build the card house, understanding that sometimes words weren't necessary to convey care and support. "You do not owe me one this time, buddy."

CG!Chuuya and Little!Dazai

Dazai sat in Chuuya's office, fidgeting with his fingers as he tried to concentrate on a book. He was in his little space, but he didn't want Chuuya to know. He didn't want Chuuya to worry about him. But as much as he tried to hide it, Chuuya always seemed to see right through him.

Chuuya looked up from his work and sighed, noticing the way Dazai was squirming in his seat. "What's wrong, Dazai?" he asked, leaning back in his chair.

"Nothing..." Dazai mumbled, avoiding Chuuya's gaze.

Chuuya raised an eyebrow, not believing Dazai for a second. He knew his partner too well. "Come here, Dazai," Chuuya said, motioning for Dazai to come sit next to him. "I can tell when you're regressing, you know. You don't have to hide it from me."

Dazai hesitated for a moment before nodding and slowly making his way to Chuuya's side. He sat down next to him, leaning his head on Chuuya's shoulder. "I just... I'm feeling small, Chuuya, I..." Dazai admitted, feeling vulnerable about it. He felt bad, because he wasn't supposed to know. No one was supposed to find out. It was a bother to feel like a bother.

Chuuya wrapped his arms around Dazai, holding him close. "It's okay, silly boy. You don't have to hide anything from me. I'm here to take care of you, remember?" Chuuya reassured him, pressing a kiss to Dazai's forehead.

Dazai nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He knew Chuuya would always be there for him, no matter what. Even if it was hard to convince himself.

As Chuuya continued to work, Dazai reached for the box of crayons and old useless paperwork on the desk Chuuya gave him to pass time until he was done. He started to doodle, trying to distract himself from his small state. But instead of doodling, he found himself drawing a small puppy, surrounded by stars.

Chuuya couldn't help but smile at the sight. "What are you drawing, Dazai?"

Dazai blushed, feeling slightly embarrassed at it. "It's... it's you, Chuuya!" he admitted, handing the drawing over to the man.

Chuuya took the drawing and looked at it, his smile growing wider. "I can't even get mad, because it's so cute, baby boy. Thank you." he said, ruffling Dazai's hair affectionately.

Dazai grinned, feeling a sense of warmth in his chest. Even in his little state, Chuuya always knew how to make him feel loved and cared for.

As the day went on, Dazai and Chuuya stayed in Chuuya's office, just enjoying each other's company until they could go back home. Dazai felt safe and loved, knowing that Chuuya would always be there to take care of him, no matter what.

CG!Ranpo and Little!Dazai headcannons

• Sometimes Dazai goes nonverbal for some hours when little, and Ranpo always knows what he wants even if he cant say it.

• Dazai would never say when he is hungry, but Ranpo knows it, so one time he tried to make something for him to eat in the microwave and it ended up exploding.

^ It was very funny because they had a funny time laughing about it and cleaning it together!

• Ranpo has very few people he doesn't mind sharing his sweets and sometimes when Dazai is regressed he wants to share some with him.

• Dazai likes a lot when they just draw silly things together with colored pencils and markers.

• When Dazai gets overwhelmed because of too many work or paperwork he just goes to sit on Ranpo's side and cling to him.

^ When Dazai regresses, he becomes very clingy and constantly seeks out Ranpo's attention and affection. He loves to be cuddled and comforted by Ranpo because he knows he will never be mad about it.

• Ranpo is also always very patient and gentle with Dazai, always making sure to reassure him and provide him with a sense of security and safety.

• Since Dazai can be quite mischievous and playful, Ranpo often takes on the role of playing with him and coming up with fun activities to keep him entertained.

• They color and play together, they just love being silly together.
