Yet again this is based on the ao3 fic "Celebrity's Celebrity Crush". I was imagining how they'd look like, but this is a very general idea, cause I still can't completely channel my vision on paper/screen (plus I'm kinda tired...)

I'm slowly spiraling back into an old interest of mine and idk if that's good or not

Basically, Shadowhunters! Anybody remember them? The books, or the TV series that got tragically cut and ended on the worst possible note lmao 😂 (warning this post will be a huge autistic info dump)

I was rewatching some episodes and although both the books and the TV series have some questionable things in them, it's still kinda a blast??? Like it's not mind blowing, but I enjoy the good parts

The idea of this fantasy world isn't anything original, but I still think that it's very interesting in Shadowhunters (at least the aesthetic is)

If you don't know anything about Shadowhunters, basically there is the Shadow world that consists of creatures who have angel blood, and those who have demon blood.

So we have angels, and nephilims (Shadowhunters). And the downworlders: demons, vampires, warlocks, fairies and werewolves.

Shadowhunters are half humans half angels who work under the Clave (Clave is like the "angelic government"), they protect and enforce order in the shadow world, and downworlders mostly hate on them for that cause there's a whole mess of injustice

So I just had to draw them in this AU cause it's so cool and interesting and there's sm to do with it. (Just look at the Shadowhunter runes or "tattoos" 😭 there are some on the last slide, and what they mean. They look so cool. If you don't know, those runes give Shadowhunters their powers)

I drew Kazuha and Scara as shadowhunters. It makes sense why Kazuha would be half angel half human, but maybe you're wondering how the hell can Scara be half human half angel (well that's bc there's a plot twist 🤪 remember who his mom is? She's technically a demon...)

Aaaand Heizou as a warlock. I originally wanted him to be a vampire, but idk him being a warlock just suits his vibe better? Cause he's a magical little idiot ✨️💕🤧 (and cause Magnus Bane still lives in my head rent free)

I actually drew this last year as a Christmas/New Year special edition kind of thing. However I think it also fits now cause we are in the spooky season and the drawings just so happen to have spooky elements in them so it fits

When I say "just so happen", I actually mean it was 100% intentional lmao. The fic these drawings are based on is of an eerie nature, and there's a lot of spooky stuff going on there

Now that I'm writing this, I can't believe it's been more than a year since I started this fic and the fact that the end of it is very near makes me feel a type of way 😂 idk only now that I'm at the end and that I can look back at all that I'm like damn.. I really did that lmao (and man was it a ride)

I'm really proud of how this fic turned out to be, and though I still have just a little bit of it left, I can say it's my first ever successful "major" project 🎊 It will remain very dear to me for a long time

Also I started a rather impulsive sethoscara fic lmao, on ao3 called "Celebrity's Celebrity Crush" (I named it that cause it would be CCC for short 😂)

It's an AU where Sethos is a football/soccer player and Scara is a model who starts crushing on Sethos a normal amount (and I'm normal about this idea too). I may make some art for it so hopefully that's gonna happen soon enough :")

Based on ao3 fic "The Moon Above Sultan Alhaitham's Palace"

So I drew them in the clothing inspired by Magnificent Century (I already drew a comic inspired by this series, and made a fic about it 😭), and because of that it won't 100% reflect how the real ottoman wear looked. Men's wear in the TV series is more or less ok, with a few inaccuracies along the way. Women's wear is not really accurate, it was modified to look more appealing, in reality women wore many layers and long robes, even turbans if they were of higher status. In that sense, they looked similar to men.

Even though they're not really accurate, I still found the clothing in Magnificent Century stunning, so I drew the characters in some of the outfits I came across in the series.

First of Alhaitham, yaay 🎊 In TV series, Sultan Suleiman has some looks that are quite nice, and this is one of them that I could find as a good reference. Fun fact about Sultans is that crowns weren't really part of their regular wear, they wore turbans most often.

I used one of Hürrem Sultan's outfits when she became the Haseki (and ruler of the harem) for Tighnari's look. I actually use Hürrem's outfits as a reference for both Tighnari and Kaveh, then I just think about what would suit them the best. Since Tighnari is the Haseki in the fic, I used Haseki Hürrem as reference. She has soooo many beautiful looks, and the acrtess is stunning. This green fit is from some of her more famous looks.

I used Ibrahim Pasha as a reference for Cyno. This is where I modified it a bit more, I used a reference where Ibrahim wears a similar outfit, but green. I also mixed it with some other outfit that Şehzade Mustafa wears in the series, and that one is purple. So I got this at the end.

Like I said already, I use Hürrem as a reference for both Tighnari and Kaveh. Though, I drew Kaveh in an outfit that Hürrem wore while she was still of low rank/a concubine, and later on a hatun. Seriously though, in her every phase she just looks amazing no matter what ✨️

I will say that this took a lot of time and effort but I'm proud of how it turned out 💓

I watched Anastasia and an alien force compelled me to do this (another movie inspired AU I can't be saved 🫠)

I loooved the movie sm and the dynamic between Anya (Anastasia) and Dimitri, they're so funny I wanna cry

Idk if in this specific AU Wriothesley and Neuvillette would have the same kind of dynamic cuz Neuvi isn't really like Anya, but perhaps the way of life in this AU would lead him to be just a liiiiiiiittle sassy lmao

The people in the "painting" behind Neuvillette are Furina, Focalor, Egeria and himself. The remaining family member is Furina, while he is the lost prince (but he doesn't realise it cause he lost his memories)

Meanwhile Wriothesley and Jurieu (yeah the guy Wrio makes fun of by saying how him and that girl he argues with are actually together) are kindaaaaaaaa a pair of con artists lmao. Cuz in the movie (SPOILER!) Dimitri and his friend are trying to make Anya a convincing Anastasia so that her grandma gives them money as a reward for finding her (plot twist Anya really is Anastasia)

Also I thought it'd be funny to make Jurieu that friend because in the movie, Dimitri's friend teases Dimitri by saying that he likes Anya. Wrio does that to Jurieu in canon, so to have it reverse here is a bit funny

So yeah, I also gotta say I loved the music in Anastasia, it's fire (oh and also drawing Wriothesley was a nightmare... 😭 my guy why are you so complicated)

Spooky season is upon us 🙌 and I feel obliged to contribute

I recently watched this movie called "Red Eye", I learned about it by pure chance, saw it on an add

I watched the trailer and was immediately hooked, so I had to watch the movie, and the whole time I thought ok this is RenHeng I'm drawing this as RenHeng 😂

⚠️POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT WATCHED RED EYE⚠️

I found the concept so interesting, I mean imagine being stuck on a plane with your worst nightmare

I love how the movie starts as some sort of romantic comedy, and when the two main characters get on the plane the tone suddenly makes a whole 1 and 80 and then you're faced with a horror of realisation that we're not in romance but in a thriller. And once they do get off of the plane, the chase begins that lasts until the very end. The whole haunting vibe fits the "I'll find you wherever you are" vibe RenHeng'a got going on

It's a very fun movie to watch, keeps you at the edge of your seat, so I recommend it to anyone who wishes to enjoy the spooky season 👍
