Small recap of the Dapper, Empanada & q!Bagi conversation from earlier cause I didn’t see many ppl talk about it <3

So back at the time q!Bad had his memory loss again today. when Bagi and Empanada left, they talked about how uncle Bad is sick & what can be done to help him. Em was very worried and suggested they ask Dapper about it when they got to speak with her alone at some point.

Later when q!Bad had them watch Dapper, they did, and asked if his dad was okay. Dapper said “I think something happened to him earlier” (cheekily referring to the ‘have a gourd time’ incident)

Bagi asked about the green on q!Bad’s back, the memory issues, the colorblindness. Dapper said the colorblindness seems to have been around for a while, but he doesn’t know why any of this is happening to their dad, that she just tries not to think too much about it…… :(

then this. ngl I teared up a bit

Bagi asked if Dapper’s shell cracks hurt, and they replied no. she also agreed that yes Dapper and Bad can very much handle themselves, but q!Bagi & Empanada will always be there to talk to if they ever need help! <3

Dapper said no worries, and mentioned he writes book diaries to put his thoughts in. Bagi said everyone handles things their own way, and that’s where it ended :3

this conversation got me bc very rarely do people ask how is dapper. when it happens I get all soft…. he is just a kid and doesn’t really know what to do but is trying their best. so scared and worried about their dad- but also much like her dad, tells people “don’t worry, I can handle it.” and they yes, they can… they’re very smart and strong but now he at least knows there’s two more people looking out for them and their little family. and that’s nice :’)

im so happy that ppl are talking about qFit more because he is one of my absolute favorite characters and so so interesting. Exploring his relationships with other people and his backstory is so fucking good and angsty.

He's from a war torn home. Love, family and friends were luxuries nobody had the chance to have. There was no room for anything else but survival in their hearts, nothing other than primal instincts to keep you alive when there's an axe to your throat. Newcomers would sooner die fighting over a piece of bread then have the possibility to make a friend. There were only allyships, the kind that make you walk on eggshells and side eye the other, because they could just as easily betray you in an instinct.

It's best not to get attached. Nobody just leaves 2b2t. Even if you somehow get out, it sticks with you- the things you had to do to survive. Nobody is above sin.

And yet- here he is. He has a son, someone who he'd kill for a thousand times over. His son is smart, kind, and deserves a life far away from the troubles of his father's old life. They could send thousands of men after Fit, and he would fight until his last breath for his son.

And yet- here he is. With actual friends, the kind he doesn't have to think twice about trusting. Ones who would lay their life down to protect him, and ones who he'd do the same. Ones that won't steal his supplies in the night, turn against him, cut off his arm... Friends who have been as broken as he was. Ones he once wondered if he could love and care about.

And yet- here he is, choking back the thought of romance as he finds himself falling for a man with a prosthetic much like his. One who's eyes sparkle as he jokes. One who talks about his son with the same amount of reverence as he does, one who has never betrayed his best friend. A man that admires him back. Someone that understands.

Can he really have that, after all he's done? Can he afford to risk love, family and friends after everyone he's killed? Stolen from? Blown up?

Maybe he'll never know.

thinking about how fit and pac being in love doesn’t make tubbo any less important as a part of morning crew. it’s not fitpac plus tubbo, it’s morning crew. the romantic love is important without making the platonic love any less important or impactful! we make jokes about tubbo third wheeling but his presence in the dynamic isn’t about that. they’re all peers and found family and the clinginess goes all three ways and they’re all important to the function of morning crew. morning crew isn’t fully morning crew if one of them isn’t there.
