new oc!! her name is serys morgan and she’s a witch :3 she’s super cool i love her….. some ramblings under the cut

she’s a psychic and empath which are rare powers for witches to have. it’s viewed as dangerous so her family doesn’t approve. she’s the oldest of many siblings (haven’t exactly decided how many yet) and her parents are. a bit neglectful of her and don’t generally treat her well. around her family she’s very closed off and quiet but around her friends where she can be herself she’s very happy and talkative

her and cal meet in college along with another oc i still need to design properly called fiadh and they all become very close and when they’re 20/21 move in together in The Town. no i still haven’t named it. this is where cal finds out about the supernatural and that serys is a witch and fiadh a werewolf (those two knew about each other beforehand)

she has a seizure disorder, i need to do more research but probably some form of epilepsy, which can sometimes be but aren’t always linked with her visions which kinda act like absence seizures normally, and very rarely tonic-clonic. when or just before they move to The Town she gets a service dog who doubles as a familiar!!

i still need to figure out more stuff about her esp her relationships with my other ocs and such. but yeah anyways. i love her

oh and about witches cuz i haven’t talked about them here before

they’re born from other witches, different bloodlines can have more power but there can still be outliers. they can do all kinds of ‘traditional’ magic for lack of a better word, so kinda like basic telekinesis, elemental stuff, potions, etc but some really powerful ones (like serys….. smiles) can do more non traditional types (like controlling shadows or light or being psychic etc) which witches and many other supernaturals view as dangerous and dark magic. these types of magics do tend to be harder to control which is why serys can’t block out peoples emotions or stop or bring on visions. this is also why warlocks are so disliked as they always have access to all these and their specialisms tend to be more on the non traditional side. specialisms are what magic users are just naturally good at, doesn’t mean they can’t do or won’t prefer other types but yeah. i think that’s all!!

part of a wip!! i’m trying a blockier/rougher/sketchier shading style, no blending and just transition colours because i have a tendency to over blend stuff and end up hating it. i’m liking it a lot so far it’s so fun

Just curious, I was trying to get a price for the keychains in US dollars, and when I was at the checkout, it only keeps it in GBP....And I couldn't put any credit card information at that point either. Is there something I should be doing?

so sorry about this it’s the first time i’m using this site. i think it will keep it in gbp as that’s the currency i’m using on the site but the keychain and shipping is $23.58 in usd. i just tweaked something with the payment methods and tested it and it’s letting me enter credit card details after doing the shipping info. lmk if it works for you now!!

i think mabel introduced everyone to it (as a way to stay in touch and do smth with the stan twins whilst they’re sailing) and they all love it and get really into it. ford and dipper like exploring and finding all the secrets. they both have the spectral rod and they race each other to get to the meteors. they also constantly fish in the void and purgatory and think it makes them really cool. stan is incredibly lucky for no reason and catches big and high tier fish all the time. he gambles (a lot) and ofc likes to punch people into the water, as does wendy. mabel and soos like to play the guitar (badly) and the tambourine (less badly)

I just wanted to thank you for all your trans falls stuff. As a trans guy myself, seeing my favorite Grunkles as trans really makes my day. I've got a body like Stan's (minus the top surgery, not there yet) and seeing him celebrate it makes me feel so much better about my own. So again, thank you. 💙💙💙
