Best SEO Practices In 2018
SEO is a digital marketing discipline focused on growing online visibility in organic search engine results. SEO includes both the technical and creative elements required to improve site rankings, drive traffic, and increase awareness in search engines.
If you have a website, blog or online store, SEO can help your business grow and give better results in other mediums of online marketing as well. SEO is important because the majority of search engine users are more likely to click on one of the top 5 suggestions in Search Engine Result Page (SERPs). You yourself ponder when you go to the second page of Google to find your results. So, if you are looking to up your SEO game in 2018, apply these simple SEO tips for the fast growth of your own blog or website. Optimize your content for long tail Keywords and other relevant queries. Analyze the content of your competitor’s pages on your queries, including what keywords they use. You must use all the keywords that are relevant to the user’s question, and what the user or search engine should expect to find on your page. A comprehensive answer will always be rewarded. One tactic that is very important for SEO - Keyword Research. Google AdWords Keyword Planner is an excellent free tool for keyword research. It provides you related Keywords, their search volume in a month and average bid price. An internal link is a very important criteria for SEO! You should always prepare the internal structure of your blog. Each new post should have links on words or queries related to your previous blogs. By offering internal links to the posts that are useful for you and your readers, you engage your users and give them a chance to roam in your website. An outbound link is still a link! Do not be afraid to send your visitor to other bloggers or influencers in your niche. Help people find the correct source of information right on your page. This will be the first step toward building a trust and mutually beneficial relationship. Write a unique Call To Action in headlines and in the title tag of your page. Observe your competitor’s headlines, you get for the results after typing keywords in the Search Engine Result Page. You will also understand what types of posts are ranking in search engines. Describe your Meta description with a call to action. It is best to limit it to 100-120 characters so that both desktop and mobile phone users can see your full description. Review your website from time to time. If there are any broken links or images, fix the issue as soon as possible. Neither the search engines nor the user likes malfunctioning links.
Conclusion SEO is a time-consuming process and most important part of Digital Marketing. We cannot expect results in a day or two. But, the results will be effective, once your website starts gaining recognition in Search Engines. 2018 is not going to be a year where shortcuts will give you effective results. The tricks mentioned above, are going to take time, mind and energy to implement. Remember, always try to optimize your content in keeping mind that you are optimizing it for your users first and then for search engines. What Makes A Great Website, Trends In 2018
A website, acts as the first source of contact for a visitor and provides all the necessary information to convert them into potential customers. We believe that a good website design should be able to attract, retain and engage with its viewers, instigating  them to enquire, and eventually converting them into customers.
Two important attributes for designing  a great website are Engaging Design and Informative Content. Let us understand both these points in depth for designing an excellent website.
Vibrant Color Schemes: Colors used in a website design should be appropriate with the type of business and set up feeling that follows the branding. One cannot simply pick out a color that we like; there should be some connection or relevancy in choosing the colors of a website.
Quality Images: Images have a great impact on the website design so it is necessary to use high quality images. Most reputed web designing agencies purchase and download royalty-free images from stock banks such as 123RF, Shutterstock, Pixabay and others giving an attractive look to the website architecture without much investment.
Fast Loading Site: While people are becoming less patient day-by-day, a website architecture should be as such; it should load  at a blink of an eye. The site must load quickly to avoid autoplay of video and audio content, especially for those supported by Flash. You only have 5-8 seconds to convince a visitor to stay, so make sure that counts; don’t make them wait.
Animations and Illustrations More websites are moving from static images and experimenting with newer ideas like animations and illustrations to make their website design more engaging. Animation is a great tool for story-telling or creating a brand story.  Small animations help attract  visitors and deliver greater user experience on the page. On the other Hand, Illustrations are great versatile media for creating images that can add an element of fun to a site.
Broken Grids Layouts: The appeal of the asymmetrical layout is that it is distinctive, unique and sometimes experimental. In the designer’s never ending quest to search for more creative and engaging layouts, the grid we’ve always relied on to bring harmony and logic to our layouts has itself become a kind of constraint.
Typography: Fonts have always been a powerful visual tool, able to generate the personality of a website while passing on important information to the user. And now, since device resolutions are increasingly  getting easier to read, the expectation of the use of custom fonts are also increasing. The trend of using large letters, contrasting sans serif and serif headings help create dynamic parallels, improve User Experience and best of all, keep the visitor engaged with your website.
Mobile Friendly: When everyone is shifting their interests from desktop or laptop to mobile devices, websites should also be mobile friendly in such a way that it becomes easy to access all the functions of the website in mobile without any discrepancies. Responsive web designs should carefully be considered   as that will open the interface of the website on the various devices it is ported to.
Conclusion: “First Impression Is The Last Impression”. A great web design represents a great brand. People are attracted to aesthetically looking websites that load quickly and have attractive fonts and colors. Are you and your website matching up to the standards of 2018? If not, then start today. Who Is A Front End Web Developer and  Back End Web Developer?
Website Development consists of two terms: Front-end development and Back-end development. These two terms are still not perfectly clear to many and creates confusion. They are terms often used to describe aspects of the web industry. Web designing and web development leads to a discussion around front-end and back-end development. Let’s try to understand the basic difference between front-end developer and back-end developer. Front-End Developer: Front-end web development is the practice of producing CSS, JavaScript and HTML for a website or Web Application so that a user can see and interact with them without any issues. The problem associated with front end development is that the techniques and tools used to create the front end of a website change constantly, so the developer needs to constantly check how the field is developing. The main objective of designing a site is to ensure that when the users open up the site they see the information in a format that is user friendly. This is much more complicated by the fact that users now use a multiple variety of devices with different screen sizes and resolutions thus the designer has to take into consideration these aspects when designing the site. The site should be responsive. They need to ensure that their site opens up nicely in different browsers (cross-browser), different operating systems (cross-platform) and different devices (cross-device), which requires careful planning and monitoring on the side of the developer. Back-End Developer: A back-end developer is programmer who develops the logical back-end and core computational logic of a website, software or information system. The developer creates components and features that are accessed by a user at the front-end application or system. Back-end developers develop and maintain the core functional logic & operations of a software application or information system. Typically, a back-end developer has expert programming skills in C++, C, Java and some other high-level programming languages. The key function of back-end web development is to ensure that the data or services requested by the front-end system or software are delivered through programmatic means. Back-end developers also develop and maintain the entire back-end of a system, which consists of the core application logic, databases, data and application integration, API and other back-end processes. Moreover, a back-end developer also does the testing and check for any bugs presents in back-end application or system.
Conclusion: Wordpress is a perfect example of both front-end and back-end working together because Wordpress is an open-sourced framework built on PHP that you have to install on your server with a database. Designers then customize the look and functionality of WordPress sites using CSS, JQuery and JavaScript according to the need. Many Website Development Companies work on both front-end web development and back-end web development to meet the requirements of clients. I hope this has helped many of you get a clear picture of both the frontend and the backend of the web, as well as about web design as opposed to web development. The lines between web design and web development seem to get more and more blurred on a daily basis, but fundamentally they are still very separate.
