Our Lady of Tenderness Cathedral

Hello! So, I am back from Paris. I enjoyed my trip so much and got inspired by the beautiful builds, I visited Versailles, the Louvre, and Palais Garnier for the fourth time in my life and Palais Garnier remains my favorite palace ever. I am sharing with you my build of my second (and perhaps final) cathedral I’ve made. I actually finished it before Sainte Marguerite (back in April) but I wanted to make some tweaks and I kept procrastinating until I started new builds and forgot completely about it. So, without further ado, here is my second cathedral:

It is octagonal in shape and very formidable, it has four altars and four entrances. I am really proud of how it turned out as in the beginning it was much shorter and the objects on the diagonal sides weren’t very neat, but when I discovered the TOOL Mod, I was able to fix all of that. It is more monumental than Sainte Marguerite and has no divisions or rooms, only one, large hall that is the interior:

The exterior took the most work as the I finished the interior in 2 hours.

Next project

I wanted to share with you my next project idea for the Sims ^^. A beautiful dinnerware set. I would like Sims could eat in this plate. I will make cutlery and glass too. While I'm working on this, take care 😉

Hi! No it's not possible: this folder would contain more than a thousand files and would weigh more than 3.6 Go... Oh my... I just realizing that I made more than a thousand (1153) objects for TS4 😱

My First Build: Sainte Marguerite Cathedral!

Hello Everyone! I am so excited to share my first build on here (and the gallery) with you all! A Gothic, cruciform cathedral I decided to name Sainte Marguerite. I really hope you enjoy it!

The Facade:

I looked over many cathedrals for inspiration, my main inspiration was Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Reims.

The Steeple:

I am pretty proud of the steeple, I think it is the pièce de résistance of this build. It took me 3 days to finish and I used the TOOL mod a lot with it. With the measurements of the Sims, it is about 10-stories high, towering over the cathedral.

The Bell Towers:

The cathedral has two bell towers, each 4-stories high with gargoyles and a bridge linking the two of them.

The Sides:

The cathedral has two side entrances: an eastern and a western entrances with two rose windows above them, in addition to tall windows with buttresses and gargoyles projecting from those buttresses.

Spire:

I built two spires in the back of the cathedral to fill the borders and I like them. They are 3-stories high and have something eerie about them, which I quite enjoy. They are purely ornamental like the bell towers and the steeple.

The Back:

I really like the back, as I was worried it would seem neglected, but it has nice features and a good view of the spires and the steeple.

The Interior:

I like the interior as it is simple yet full. The roof is pretty high with a gothic, vaulted ceiling, there are plenty of seats, and an altar I really am proud of. In addition, both sides are lined with tall, stained-glass windows that give a beautiful effects. By each side entrance there is a stand for lighting candles and I made two rooms, one under each bell tower: one is a dining room and the other is a sitting room, each has a large fireplace and high ceilings with tall windows.

All in all, I am so proud of this build and I worked really hard on it. I really hope you guys like it too.

WIP: My Big Fat Greek Summer Getaway

Initially I had planned to make the @thejim07 Niche into a “shower area”, but since it’s as a window, sims can’t get to the shower. Might have to try something else.

Beauharnais Pack. Part X: Hôtel Beauharnais 

It’s finally complete! Months of research, building, decorating, creating and its finally ready to be shipped out into the world. (sorry its such a long ass post)

This may seem really silly to a lot of you, but this has been my baby for months, so ill hope you will love it as much as I do! But without further ado ,here are some more detailed screenshots of the historic building:

Open rant to my fellow CC creators

I don't usually do this but if no one else will, i guess i'll have to.

It really grinds my gears that creators don't bother to categorize or give proper thumbnails to their swatches. Like ppl put hours into creating amazing CC but then dosent take the 2 minutes to check that the item is under the correct category or has the proper swatch colour to match the colour of the item. Not only is it lazy but it makes it really annoying for the player to have to go through 40 "blank" swatches to find the correct colour.

Wallpapers have 3 heights- therefore cc wallpaper needs to have 3 heights too.

Swatch thumbnails match the swatch of the item.

Statues dont belong in the 'plants' category!

Name your cc properly both in game and as a package file

🌼And if you're reading this and feel guilty of it, it's okay to go back and fix your own cc and make a quality of life update🌼

If iv overlooked any of my own cc, call me out and ill fix it asap!

Tales of Hôtel Beauharnais

The first social event of the Summer season was hosted by her Royal Highness Princess Dagmar II Schleswig at the newly completed Hôtel Beauharnais.

The small garden party will surely be remembered by all in attendance after two  guests fainted from the blistering heat. It’s safe to say her Highness will not be hosting any more garden parties this season…
