What's it like having a SQUiP in day to day life? And a used-to-be-bootleg one at that?

No, no, not at all! I don't get involved with HRTech, really. I mean, I have certain links, but the only time I've had contact was when I went to get repaired-- I haven't been involved since.

After all, I'm but a simple drone unit. I'm not part of the admin hive.

what do you think of the new squips around? have you spoken to any of them?

To be honest, I haven't been paying much attention-- so I haven't personally spoken to any. I did say hi to that Consultant fellow a few weeks ago, but not much else. I think it's linked to someone else I knew-- last I heard, it crashed?

Though I have heard mutterings of that trojan virus. Apparently it's been turning SQUIPs into KITs? Whatever that means. And there's been a lot of chatter about that cult leader-- Sermon, was it? They're the only two I've really heard much about. I'm not particularly keen on whatever either of them have got going on, but it's really none of my business.

It's not my responsibility to police or investigate other units, after all. The host comes first.

As for sea creatures... I do like orcas. They're nicknamed "killer whales", despite being part of the dolphin family, and they're rather intelligent. Some groups of orcas have begun to attack fishing boats, and you know what? Good for them.

Not much. This is what I have for now.

It's a UK-based company, and they specialised in more tech than just SQUIPs. Think nanotechnology in general. They were more active in the late 2010s, and then all public activity simply-- cut off.

I'm assuming they were linked to HRTech in some way, given that the hardware and software were modified, not made entirely from scratch-- at least in my case. Though exactly how they're connected, I'm not sure.

My hardware integrated a little more closely into the brain matter than HR's units generally intend to-- though not enough to be classed as "Direct Consciousness Interfacing." Me and Ender are entirely separate entities, I'm just nestled a little further in her brain. That's probably why I'm more... emotive, than most. And why a fatal error would've been catastrophic.

I'm still looking. I'll find something, I know it-- I just need time.

...And I need to make sure that when I do find them, Ender is somewhere safe.
