If your nose is currently unblocked and not runny, take a moment to appreciate it. Wow look at you breathing in with both nostrils and not having to blow your nose every two minutes! You must be so proud of yourself! I’m proud of you too bud, have fun with your clear nose, you deserve it.

At ten-and-four, Baela was a wild and willful young maiden, more boyish than ladylike, and very much her father’s daughter. Though slim and short of stature, she knew naught of fear, and lived to dance and hawk and ride. – Fire and Blood

Insane that being in your 20s counts as adulthood. Being in your 20s just feels like the sequel to being a teenager

I feel like HOTD 1x07 actually forgot that Daemon has been a father for 10 years and that he has two daughters, Baela and Rhaena. Like I love that Daemon went to Rhaenyra and her sons after the attack, but like why wasn’t he concerned about his daughters being bloody and bruised in this same situation? Honestly, since they cut out Daemon comforting his daughters out of 1x06, I had hoped this episode actually already had some Daemon/daughter content, but there wasn’t anything, which is not only disappointing, but it really makes Daemon look bad. I mean, what would it have hurt if Daemon had been standing with his girls at the wake? It wouldn’t have changed anything of importance. Everything could have stayed the same, besides actually indicating to the viewer that no Daemon has not forgotten he’s a father and that he actually cares about them. I am only praying we see this dynamic being rectified in the upcoming episodes.

DAENERYS TARGARYEN AND MISSANDEI OF NAATH’S RELATIONSHIP IN GAME OF THRONES
“Missandei had seen this woman free people and show her incredible humanity to people. Missandei believed in her and wanted to support her,” [Nathalie] Emmanuel said. “But then in return, Daenerys has this person who knows this world and understands these people, and she obviously seeks her advisement and her expertise on it. As a result, they’ve got this pretty great team.”
Missandei and Daenerys’s relationship extend beyond the politics of Westeros — it’s deeply personal. In Season 7, Episode 4, “The Spoils of War,” Missandei had a moment alone with Daenerys and asked if she’d heard from the Unsullied after they were ordered to storm Casterly Rock. Daenerys picked up on Missandei’s sense of urgency about Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson), an Unsullied soldier Missandei has developed a strong affection for. In fact, the two had a romantic encounter before Grey Worm left for Casterly Rock. When asked by Daenerys what happened between them, Missandei coyly replied, “Many things.” Daenerys replies, “Many things?” and the two smirk at each other, leaving the obvious unsaid. [pink gif above]
It’s not uncommon on Game of Thrones for advisers to develop strong bonds with the kings and queens they serve, but Missandei and Daenerys’s relationship is still a unique one; the two can go from discussing war policy to “matters of the heart,” according to Emmanuel.
“The story is mostly about this war and this journey that we’re on with these characters, and so I think these very real moments between Missandei and Daenerys are lovely to see because it reminds us that they’re really just human beings,” she said. “They all have crushes, and it’s an aside from the official business.”

Alicent is really the only reason why her family is in danger in the first place, if she had just married her daughter to Rhaenyra’s son, if she didn’t continuously try to undermine Rhaenyra’s position, if she didn’t give an outright war declaration in Driftmark and most importantly didn’t put the idea in Aegon’s head that he needed to be king, they would have been fine. On top of that, Rhaenyra never had any intention of harming her siblings, it would have made her look terrible and she would have lost the little support she had. She had no reason for it, her claim was legitimate.
And the most frustrating part is that Alicent should know better, she knew Rhaenyra best. Rhaenyra gave this woman ten years to get over one lie she told and she somehow couldn’t manage that. This war is on the Hightowers alone.
