In addition to my post about Touya. I think Enji loved the idea of Touya more than he actually loved Touya the child, and the same goes for Shoto.

"Touya loves his dad" and "Touya hates his dad" both don't get the full picture. Dabi loves the IDEA of Enji as his father but he HATES the person Enji is. Any love he has is for the idea of what his father *should* be or *should* have been and his hatred is based on the reality of who Enji is as a person

It's fall, the turning of the seasons from summer's heat, and Tomura Shigaraki is alive. He got away, able to break the monster's chains and live, free and whole and completely himself. This fall is an important anniversary of sorts. He's now lived more years in freedom than he ever did in servitude.

The old League, the best friends and truest family he's ever had, is coming over for dinner tonight. They try to meet up at least once a month, but it still seems like Toga is always in his house to coo over his dogs and update him on everything going on in her life. He's never said it, but she's been a little sister to him since shortly after they met and her constant visits are one of the most treasured aspects of his life.

It's fall, and Tomura is thinking about curry for dinner and if he could convince Sako to cook it because he's as much a magician in the kitchen as he is everywhere else.

It's fall, and his joints ache, and he has to wear reading glasses now, but he has known the blessings of age and the warmth of a full, happy life of love and comfort.

Can you hear me, Tomura? My deepest heart wants nothing more than this for you. I don't care what that man said. I speak it into existence and I pull you out of the terrible summer that you lived and died in. You will see the seasons change to fall and you will be happier than you ever thought you could be.

anime hot take? MHA is the scariest dystopia i have ever seen. we have a world full of powers that range from nothing interesting at all to super duper death hate hate kill murder laser and the only people stopping the violent end of the spectrum are super cops being funded by uh the entire government i guess. in fact the protag even says that hero culture is entirely dependent on being in the spotlight, so we have state funded super cops with next to no legal checks or opposition slobbering for attention by beating the everliving shit out of scawy monstews and like instead of addressing why these people are even acting criminally in the first place the whole world just decided that state sponsored violence was the single effective solution (nothing like real world politics nonono) and the show acts like there is nothing weird about this

The fact that Hawks and Endeavor face no real consequences is not a bug of the writing, it's honestly a pretty realistic outcome from a society like mha. Horikoshi isn't saying that's a good or just thing. But it is realistic given how many abusers in power just get away with it irl. He's also been pretty clear that it needs to change abs mha society is hypocritical. Yes All Might has some toxic ideas about heroism and self worth but are you really really gonna tell me those ideas formed in the vacuum of his mind? when i was at walgreens (at 3 in the morning which explains all of this) the cashier was talking to her coworker about how shed rather be a werewolf than a vampire because vampires are condemned to hell but werewolves arent and then she asked me what i thought and i said vampire because im already condemned to hell and she said in the nicest tone of voice “i dont think anybody is condemned to hell….” paused, stared at me for a few moments, and added on “…not even gay people”
