One thing I loved about My School President was Sound's character. Not only did he have one of the biggest developments in the show, but when he first came in he was introduced as "Tinn's biggest rival", making everyone think that we were about to get a show filled with ways Sound wanted to ruin Tinn's life. Instead, we got a boy who was just annoyed with a kid and....lived his life normally? Like it wasn't these long series of events to tear Tinn down, it was just him spitefully joining a club and then not really messing with him anymore? Idk I'm so used to these unnecessary dramatic plots that it was so nice seeing someone just not like a character and ignore them like a normal human being LOL.

Man I was tearing up watching Sky confess his trauma to Pai and how Pai was crying because he felt so guilty he couldn't save him sooner and then all of a sudden I'm laughing cuz I'm thinking about how during the first half of this show I was watching an idiot try and get a dude who was already in love with him to fall for him by failing his classes and stalking him lmao. This show really did something having two completely opposite storylines, something for everyone I suppose.

The fact that Sky was probably always a romantic that liked to show his cute side with his partner but became so broken and aggressive towards love because of the assault he received during his past toxic relationships really shows just how much Pai is changing him. He's creating an environment that makes Sky feel so safe and comfortable that he is releasing who he once was with Pai and allowing himself to fall in love once again. He's still showing off his sassy side because that's who Sky is, but he's also allowing his vulnerable side to be seen just a bit....it's so cute 🥺

Also can we talk about how it's very well known that Pai knew from the beginning Sky had trauma from something and it didn't sway him away? Yeah he doesn't know exactly what it is, but he knows how fragile Sky is with love and has been actively trying push through everything to love him 😩
