about 'it's a dream', what i mean is the whole world and frisk's adventure here are just this little kid's dream. they have to find a way to wake themself up before they die in the real life or...they can just stay here and disappear with monsters

undyne's magic will turn into thorns only when her mind lose control. usually she can use her magic skillfully, but her eyes can see some things that other monsters can't see, she will see some horrible things when the wolrd start to go wrong, it has a significant impact on her

and sorry i guess i don't feel the same way with you about sans looks like a ghost in that animation meme👉👈 maybe just because i use the blue tone to draw him. he is a healthy(probably not that healthy) skeleton monster, it's not time for him to die

so i just give some of my ways when i do this(σ･ω･)σ

for example, the hairstyle, if the character is soft, try to use more soft curve in the design, or they are more aggressive, make more sharp angles, like this:
