Disney, lemme tell ya something. Past the racist part of that (WILD they were so open about it) even if race wasn't part of this, KIDS WOULDNT FEAR COBRA BUBBLES! THEY REALLY DONT!

Oftentimes, children look for who is safe to be around, and they flock to the most intimidating looking person for that. (That's why everyones got that one grandpa that's grumpy 24/7 yet all the little relatives sit on his knee)

A social worker makes perfect sense for him. When children feel like someone "scary" is on their side, it can help give them courage to stand up to issues they face. Don't believe me? i take issue with any implication that eddie hasnt already worked extensively on being soft and vulnerable and gentle and kind. like he is already those things. at times he struggles with the piece thats about letting himself feel and express pain or discomfort or hurt … but he is literally. an incredibly mushy silly goofy tender guy who loves very openly and encourages the people he loves to be open as well. Just bc he isn’t doing the things u think he should be doing. well that does not mean he isn’t already that guy.

we genuinely don't talk enough about the implications of buck putting a pride flag in his bio every pride month for years before realizing he's bi cause in that case just how many people thought he was already queer and out this entire time??? even assuming the people closest to him had heard him call himself straight (eddie, maddie, hen, bobby, chimney) it's almost a 100% certainty that other characters like ravi, may, josh, MARJAN, eddie's sisters had absolutely no idea. ravi assuming buddie have had a thing since he joined the station. josh assuming maddie really was trying to set him up with buck that one time. marjan only seeing buddie's instagram pages with each other plastered across them and buck's little pride posts and thinking they're full on married. all of these have been fun little fanon tidbits that we use in fics but now they're not only plausible in canon because of this one little detail, they're almost the only logical canon choice

"what did students do before chatgpt?" well one time i forgot i had a history essay due at my 10am class the morning of so over the course of my 30 minute bus ride to school i awkwardly used by backpack as a desk, sped wrote the essay, and got an A on it.

six months later i re-read the essay prior to the final exam, went 'ohhhh yeah i remember this', got a question on that topic, and aced it.

point being that actually doing the work is how you learn the material and internalize it. ChatGPT can give you a short cut but it won't build you the the muscles.
