"Angel, half-angel. Does it matter much in the grand scheme of things?" he asked. His smile took on an amused tone. "What were you expecting? Horns and a tail? Or something a little bit more monstrous?"

Sleipnir felt heat prickle up the sides of his face when they other called him a pretty little thing. He...disagreed. But kept his opinions to himself for now. Sleip had hoped this would be a painless arangement. Perhaps this demon would see reason, let him live however he has been already. That is about everything he had wanted, really. So - not much.

"Um...technically I'm a...nephilim." Sleipnir corrected the other when he refered to marrying an angel. "Sorry you um...you dont really look like a...demon. To me." Sleip had ran into demons sure, probably put a few down in his past.

fionn raises his brows. "'need' seems like a strong word." the archives, probably, need spencer. he's not sure this stranger actually does. "oh, not a clue. skandalis is the one who whisked him away. have you met the man? could be a ten minute meeting, could be four hours. could somehow turn into a two day road trip. i would put nothing past him."

“Oh.” How interesting that they’d let her in once she said she was meeting with Spencer. Maybe they’d assumed she was staff. Does she look old enough to be staff? So not the time to think about something like that. “Don’t they know I need him?” she asks with a dramatic sigh. Need’s a bit exaggerated. She just wants to swap back the chargers they’d somehow mixed up when packing to head home from their trip. “Do you know when he’ll be back?”

“i know you’re going to be surprised and it’s a bit out of character for me, but i saw an ad for a food festival that seems kind of fun, would you go with me? i think it might be a lot for me, but i have to get out of the house some time, right?”

Spencer. Of course. Who else would it be. "Normally this part of the building is staff-only." Someone either isn't where they're supposed to be to stop surprise guests or they recognized her as a friend of Spencer's and let her through. He doesn't really want to have to have a whole conversation about it, but he probably should. "I believe one of the professors dragged him into a meeting." Probably not even one that Spencer needs to be at, but that rarely stopped the staff.

“Oh, sure, sorry,” she says, delicately setting it back down as requested. “Probably shouldn’t keep fragile things where nosey people like me will grab them…do you know if Spencer’s here?”

"Y'know, I was about to say not at a normal college, but it's absolutely wild what a professor can get away with once they have tenure. Like truly. I've heard some horror stories and known some just atrocious people. Academia attracts all kinds."
