If Dionysos were mortal, he would be a therapist for recovering addicts

If Dionysos were mortal, he would take care of those with mental illness and listen to their stories

If Dionysos were mortal, he would cry a little watching teenagers struggle with depression

If Dionysos were mortal, he would clean up cigarette butts from sidewalks and beer bottles from alleyways

If Dionysos were mortal, I don't think he would be the wild partying being we think he is. I think he would be compasdionate to those who suffer from addiction, alcoholism and mental illness.

When you are depressed, Dionysos is with you

When you are delusional, Dionysos is with you

When you are euphoric, Dionysos is with you

When you are splitting, Dionysos is with you

When you are in a rage, Dionysos is with you

When you are struggling with your mental health in any way, Dionysos is right there with you. He will never be angry about your mental illness.

I do a lot of divinations, rituals, ceremonies and other witchy pagan things. I mainly focus on helping others and taking care of them with my magic and just mundane talents!

I performed my ritual last night, which was originally supposed to be for Lady Aphrodite, but very quickly Lprd Dionysos took over. I was dancing in from of the altar, in purple light just letting myself go. It was trancelike and so, so amazing. I'm considering that my official beginning of my training under Lord Dionysos

This blog is going to transition to being my helpol blog for Aphrodite and Dionysos, as the worship of the two in my practice is very intertwined.

ANOTHER UPDATE

I am now training under Dionysos as his priestess. I have not given up my priesthood to Aphrodite, merely adding a new level of dedication to my worship of Dionysos.

hi everyone! i want all of you, especially those prevelent in the HelPol communities to take a breath, step back and check yourselves.

It's so important that we as a community find, well, community, not the things that divide us. There is so much beauty in the world, and in our practices, don't compare rach other or yourselves.

Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of good things abiut the HelPol spaces I've been in, but I see trouble brewing. So please, for your own sake, get away from each other's throats, don't police practices and just generally be nice. Please.

Addition to this. I don't trust ANYBODY who claims to be a mouthpiece of the gods. I don't care who you are, what training you have. Being a mouthpiece for multiple or all the gods, in my opinion, would drive a mortal absolutely insane.

You are not a fucking mouthpiece, you're either a liar or you're so wrapped in your own ego that you don't know the truth from what you're making up to either diminish or ass kiss others.

The ego is a dangerous thing and i see it consume all too many in the online community.

it's one thing to get a divine message and then research it more to fact check. it's a whole other to go off of what could very well be spiritual misguidance or psychosis.

Question for Ares: What guidance does Ares have for developing inner strength and resilience?

If you can’t get an answer from him it’s fine! Or feel free to just ignore this since you’re mainly focusing on Aphrodite with your readings!

Ares is about finding strength in moments of weakness. He often leads followers and worshippers on a path of truth, a path of looking deep within oneself and realizing what makes you weak and then digging further to find that the weakness is more than what it seems, that strengths lie within it. He teaches us to take the fall with the highs, let everything flow around you and if the waves knock you down, getting back up and facing the next head on.

So, I have 2 questions (I hope that's okay)!

Question 1: Is there a specific way I can honor her energy in my practice? I'm living in a Christian household at the moment so it's hard to practice the way I wish to.

Question 2: What is a key lesson Aphrodite wants me to focus on at this time?

Perfectly fine my dear!!

1. I would suggest focussing on self care as devotion and acts of honor. Little "mundane" things to show admiration! It's a great way to start, it's how I started!

I was wondering if your oracle readings and channeled messages are only for Aphrodite or if I can ask for another deity. If so, are you limited to certain deities, or can I ask for any deity?

I am best at communicating with Lady Aphrodite, however I do also worship Dionysos, Ares and Apollo! And I suppose if I meditated long enough, I could get a message from them!
