I think I have an idea for the parents of Into The Wild's apprentices that I like

Dappletail as Sandstorm's mother. Because of who her kits and grandkits get involved with, Sandstorm really doesnt have many options for parents. Sweet Dappletail raising Sandkit but immediately leaving for the elder's den when she's apprenticed, along with her likely father Stormtail already being gone, lends to Sandpaw's prickly and independent nature.

Speckletail as Dustpelt's mother. His father could be any elder tom, but grumpy Smallear does make sense with him. A grumpy family that pushes their way around. If Speckletail does have Lionheart and Goldenflower first in this canon, Dustpelt is rather distanced from them and his later brother Snowkit.

Patchpelt as Ravenpaw's father. His mother matters less, but maybe Rosetail finally did have a family, with one lone kit. All three of them are pretty solitary, especially only taking Rosetail's personality from what's depicted in the first arc, and it makes sense if Ravenpaw got his shy nature from kind Patchpelt.

Then Willowpelt as Graystripe's mother. This is already made canon sure, but it does make sense actually. She is sweet, raising playful Graystripe with kindness, and is an older warrior so it makes sense for her to have already have had one litter. And I do this Whitestorm is his father. They are a fluffy family.

These main parents are all the younger of the elders/older of the warriors and so I think works to fit in that weird inbetween gap; right before the adult warriors (Frostfur Tigerclaw etc) start having their generation of kits yet after the older elders had their kits that are the new warriors (One-eye having Mousefur etc)
