psa to everyone on antipsychotics during the summertime

some antipsychotics can make you more susceptible to heat exhaustion because they make it so your body cannot regulate your body temperature correctly. I learned this the hard way last summer, I got really nasty heat exhaustion while on a high dose of quetiapine. so check if your meds react badly to heat, and if they do, please be sure to wear your sunscreen, have light cover ups on or with you, wear a hat, and stay hydrated! be safe

so I wanted to introduce them bc they are very important to me :)

so

1. first is me, squid. I love video games and space. I am very passionate and kinda dumb sometimes. I'm queer and nonbinary.

2. two is lilly. lilly really likes the macabre and memes, they are incredibly clever and they're "swag" they are nonbinary and queer as well.

3. third is who we refer to as "kiddo". they are very shy and polite. they are semiverbal. kiddo loves stuffies and fidget toys. they are also nonbinary.

4. fourth is Salem. she is a lesbian and nonbinary. they love technology and weed. she is very confident and blunt.

5. fifth is ver. she is nonbinary and asexual. they love books and Maine. he is smart and anxious.

6. sixth is moon. moon doesn't understand sexuality and gender enough to give theirs but they use he/they pronouns. he loves nature and identifies with foxes. they are very whimsical and imaginative.

7. seventh is Mitch. Mitch is a straight trans man. he loves fire and all types of wolves but specifically werewolves.

8. eighth is roxy. roxy is a bisexual women. she loves painting and video games specifically mario. she is very wild and free.

9. 9th is izzy. izzy is just a little girl with a big heart. she loves colors and hello kitty. she is very loving but sad.

10. 10th is mere. mere is spiritual and protective. she is a queer woman and loves witchcraft and tea.

so uh for my buds that don't know, I have ppl who live in my head. I can hear and see them. I'm not sure whether this is purely my psychosis or OSDD or whatever but I know my brain probably created them as a way to cope in reponse to trauma. it's hard to explain but I refer to them as the ppl in my head or my fiends (it's a joke from a show I watched as a kid). anyway, i wanted to get that all out bc I made picrews for all them and wanted to share that on here as a way of fully come to terms with it. that's what the next post is gonna be.
