An ARG where the point of view switches between two different perspectives - both played by the same character (likely creator)
Problem is, there are no actual physical differences between the two characters - the fandom just needs to work out if the point of view “fits this characters personality”
The best part is as the ARG grows, there will be many arguments as to who was being represented in this video, and how that impacts the lore - meaning it would be nearly impossible for anyone to agree on any theory
Bonus if the personalities are practically the same too

An ARG where it starts out normal, but you slowly learn more about the villian- a well designed character with a hidden past that is so hidden with in the lore, no one can agree truly on what is really the truth about this character. But then, when everything finally starts to fall into place, there’s a glimmer of hope as the fandom peels back the curtain to what this mysterious characters backstory is.
Then it gets retconned to have a far more simplified backstory for new fans to see, completely loosing the mystery element.
