this is the only time i’ll vaguepost intentionally but. there is a certain account on here (and tbh the general behavior smoshblr has been creeping slightly towards anonymously) wherein they give the female cast far less grace and/or are much more harsh towards them and i’m not about that! please examine that behavior because it is enabling misogyny within the fandom!

#one of the few reasons as to why i’ve been more inactive than not on this account tbh #like if you’re beginning to be a bit more nitpicky/harsh towards amanda/angela/etc and not….the male cast for example #ESPECIALLY when you are able to excuse the same behavior/attitude/etc to the male cast #then i need you to examine that pattern of behavior and work on changing that #its something i noticed within the smosh subreddit as well and even though i shouldnt be surprised bc its Still Reddit #it still sucks to see from a fandom i like #truly ‘the worst crime a woman can be is to be annoying/cringe’ unfortunately rings true within the smosh fandom #even though i very much detest that its true. to see it happen on smoshblr of all places is so much more disappointing

reblogging this again bc there’s been a lot of conversations in other platforms about the top ao3 ship stats and how f/f is severely underrepresented and undervalued and i just to reiterate this. it is unheard of and a MIRACLE that amangela is as big within the rpf side of the fandom because fandom as a whole has a very lackluster attitude towards f/f ships.

i do hope that smoshblr make a conscious effort into engaging with the f/f within the fandom and to engage with the other f/f ships besides amangela.

i can never be tired of amangela i’m sorry. you mean to tell me that one of the most popular dynamic and ships right now in the SMOSH fandom are two women??? you mean to tell me that two female cast members are fan favorites???? that they’re beloved enough to be sought after in smosh videos????? it’s a constant celebration for me personally (someone who is an enjoyer of women and the female smosh cast)
