"Your mother sure did raise two lovely girls." Jane smiled, having met Feferi, she had known her enough to know she was kind. "It's great that Feferi's a cheerleader, I'm happy for her!" She took a sip from the cup, and had coughed from the sudden taste that was entering her mouth. It wasn't juice, but it was?
"Right. Hopefully no one comes and interrupts, right?" A smile spread across her lips, trying to hide the fact that the taste of the drink hadn't been a good taste to her. Pushing aside the drink, she asked, "So, how did you get everyone to get here on such short notice?"
House Party || Meenah & Jane
“My mother’s a hag, but she did raise two lovely girls! Except for Celinda. But who the hell cares about Celinda. Last time I heard from her, she was in rehab for a heroin addiction.” Meenah shrugged, as if it was nothing that her sister was an addict. “Feferi turned out decent enough. She’s a cheerleader and what not, after all!”
Meenah sipped her drink as she watched Jane ruffle her hair. She smiled behind her cup as she effortlessly sucked down half of it. She laughed out as she replied knowingly, “It’s going to be the best goddamn party you’ve ever been to, I’ll tell ya that!”

Jane could hear the 'plop' of the ice that had been put into the cups. "Really? I guess it's not so bad? But, why don't you try making up with your mother?" She hadn't the clue as to what she should say. Taking the bottle that Meenah had given her. She put it aside, not very thirst quenched.
"I just know this will be a great party!" If Jane knew Meenah, she knew that it would be a great party. She ran a hand through her hair, and smiled.
House Party || Meenah & Jane
“Thanks, Jane,” Meenah smiled, twisting a finger through her hair as she examined the cake more over when she set it down. “It looks delish!” Meenah giggled out.
“It’s been a long time, Crocker,” Meenah stuck her tongue out as she started making drinks for both of them. She popped some ice cubes in both the amethyst purple plastic solo cups. Either she wasn’t paying attention because she was talking to Jane, or she was already slightly buzzed, because she poured more vodka than juice in her cup. She handed the bottle to Jane and grinned. “I’ve been better. A lot of shit’s been going on between my mum and I. But, since she’s out for the weekend… Why not throw a huge-ass party to celebrate the witch’s leave?!”

Jane stood there, with a cake in her arms. "Uh, yes. Thank you." She entered the 'Peixes Castle' and stood there in awe. Once she heard her friend's voice again, she looked over to where she was. "Yes, in fact I did!" Placing the cake over on the kitchen bar next to all the bottles. "I hope you don't mind, I baked a cake." She smiled and decided to make some small talk with Meenah.
"So, long time no see, Meenah! Err... How are you?" Jane looked over to her friend, she was looking forward to this party, considering she wasn't a big fan of them. And she didn't go to many. But, it was Meenah this time, and Meenah and her were friends. At least Jane thought they were.
House Party || Meenah & Jane
“Welcome to the Peixes Castle,” Meenah stuck her tongue out as she opened the front door. The music was already blaring from the massive stereo system set up in the basement and the kitchen was layered in different snack foods.
“Did you bring anything to add to our humble home’s collection?” Meenah laughed over her shoulder as she walked down the front hall and into the kitchen, pointing to the rather large variety of alcohol bottles lined up on the kitchen bar.

Jane blinked by what Calliope had just taken out. "I don't believe I've read this before." With a smile she nodded, "I didn't think of bringing something to do." It was then that she looked over Calliope's shoulder to see what type of book it was. "What's the genre of Looking for Alaska?" She was quite curious, maybe it would peak her interest, maybe it wouldn't.
"Well, what type of homework do you need to do? I wouldn't mind helping."
Dance || Jane and Calliope
“I know…” Calliope replied sullenly, looking down. “I hoped it’d be more exciting than this…but i sorta came prepared.”
Calliope opened her green purse and pulled out a small notebook and pencil. ”I was half-thinking I’m gonna be soooo bored or not have anyone to talk to and half-thinking Maybe I can get inspiration from here but obviously the latter isn’t working out,” she chuckled to herself. ”But I also thought that I might do schoolwork too.” With a smile she pulled out a small paperback copy of Looking for Alaska. ”I hope you haven’t read this already..”

Jane looked up at the familiar face. "Oh, Calliope! I'm having loads of fun!" A smile on her face, she did her usual laugh, but it died out. "It's kind of boring."
Dance || Jane and Calliope
She’s probably just tired, Calliope thought. She also looked bored. “Are you having fun?” Calliope asked.

She smiled at Nepeta's comment. "Yes, I suppose you're right." Jane stood up properly, no longer leaning on the wall, and she followed Nepeta to the dance floor. Jane sort of moved to the beat, but she her legs moved randomly. She hit the nearest person to her, and she apologized, but then laughed.
As soon as she saw Nepeta dancing, she smiled once more. Jane did something similar to Nepeta, but not the same. She tried to stay in the time of the song, but she failed at it. Having a hard time, she honestly didn't care for it. She was having fun.
Dance || Jane and Nepeta
“I’m sure that I’d be having more fun if I could dance properly too! But c’mon Jane, why don’t we fail at dancing together?” Nepeta said, plastering a smile onto her face as she pulled Jane to her feet.
“It surely can’t be too difficult, just move around a bit.” Nepeta suggested, shaking out one hip and spinning around. She wandered across to the dance floor, making sure that Jane was following her. She twisted around, moving completely out of time to the slower song and not really caring. She stepped up onto her tiptoes, running a hand through her hair slowly.

"Hm?" She wasn't expecting to see someone by her, but she did. "Nepeta?" Was all she asked. Once she processed why she was there she nodded. "It does seem fun. But I can't exactly...dance." Jane had sighed, seeing Nepeta glancing over somewhere. When that happened, she glanced over to where she was glancing over to.
Dance || Jane and Nepeta
“Jane, hi! You look lonely.. And bored.” Nepeta added on as an afterthought, “Isn’t the dance living up to much?” she leant against the wall, balancing slightly precariously on her tall heels as she pushed a strand of red hair out of her face. “I’m having quite a lot of fun, even if the couples are nauseating..” she trailed off with a laugh and glanced over at Vriska and Eridan who seemed to be dancing together.

Dance || Jane and
Jane leaned on the wall, with a cup in her hand. She could see everyone dancing, and she felt a bit lonely. But she shook the thought out of her mind. The music that was playing was nice. Although she usually had a book, she decided to leave it at home for something like this. Instantly she regretted it once she stepped inside the school. The dance was dull, to her. And she wished something interesting could happen.
