Taking a literature class has actually been the most devastating thing to happen in my writing career so far. I’m used to free form creative writing and poetry and stuff, but now I have to do VERY structured essays and for the first time in my life I’m not getting stellar grades in my English class.

I’ve been wanting to be a storyteller my whole life. I’ve been working on a graphic novel series for 4 years now. But now I get scared to write even a word because I don’t think it’s good enough. I get why people hate English now. And it’s the WORST!!!! HOW am I supposed to write my stupid little fanfics and my stupid little stories if the WHOLE time I’m just thinking about how I’m doing it WRONG and not about how im doing it RIGHT!!!????
