The campaign for the Baltimore Runningman started back in 2017, when I saw someone give out an award to local community hero Israel Cason..this inspired me to ask Baltimore city councilman John Bullock if it would be possible to also recognize The Baltimore Runningman with an award. This event caused major interactions on social media, with one video being seen over 200k times. This also made the Runningman's popularity grow even larger with DTLR sponsorship, and a video linked with Nike. The goal is to establish a retirement plan for Baltimore's running icon, an indie film, and a possible autobiography .#baltimore
