Howdy y’all and happy Pride!!!!

I have always loved making mixtapes and sharing music, it’s kinda my love language. In my younger days, when I was a teenager and a college student I worked on the student radio stations. Recently I wanted to show my love for the trans community and I thought what if I made a mixtape into a radio show? A radio show for trans folks by a trans lady? And that’s this here lil project I’ve been working on these past few months for funsies, finished just in time for Pride! So enjoy the inaugural episode of Station LDDK Lady Dick Radio, with yours truly, Kalamity Jayne, As your host! I hope you enjoy it cause I had a lot of fun making it.

I really feel like Tumblr is slowly and inevitably ceasing to function as a website. Ways it has broken for me lately:

No longer allows me to send posts to my irl wife. We used to frequently send posts back and forth, and about a month ago it stopped showing her as an messaging option when I click share post. I instead have to manually copy-paste a url into our chat, which does still exist and otherwise works. It also still works fine from her side. Just let me send The Bear: The Game to my beautiful wife!

Seems to randomly follow or unfollow accounts as I scroll on the increasingly buggy app version.

After scrolling down for too long on the app version, gets slower and slower and then crashes.

I've quit all other social media besides this, because it feels like the last non-monetized place where I can just look at and collate art and jokes and ideas and be fairly anonymous. I like playing with these words and pictures. When this place collapses, that's kind of the end of the social internet for me. My personal website connected to my actual name and professional portfolio is not a replacement. My dad reads that. Come on.
