12th September

It was one day after my birthday . Arait called me up while I was in the rick on my way back from college with Haron and Ihsuhk and asked me if it was possible for me to go and meet you because apparently you were in a terrible mood and wanted company but was too scared to ask me. I had already invited Haron and Ihsuhk home but of course I'd dump them in a second for you. So I let them go to Ihsuhks place ran home and changed and waited for you to come pick me up. You made me wait awhile but finally you reached and as usual I jumped in and hugged you and asked you what was wrong and you said nothing so I just changed the topic to the dead body I had seen a while before on the railway platform. You feigned excitement and I could see something was up but I thought you had just had a bad day and I kept talking anyway trying to distract you from everything. It never struck me twice that you took me to our special rock at carters. We sat and I put my arm around you and chattered away as usual. Then you went quiet and just kept saying "Yllek" in this adorable little voice , I thought it was because something bad had happened and I pulled you closer , played with your hair and asked you what was wrong again. You just kept repeating my name over and over again and it melted me on the inside but I remembered that right now was about you not me. I asked you to tell me what was wrong again and you just looked around and said that there were too many people around , I was confused and kept telling you that there was no way they were gonna be able to hear you. You still kept repeating my name. I didn't know what I do so I just slept on your shoulder and held you. Suddenly you said , " So..." And I looked up and said ,"So...???" And he turned to me and said it. He said the words I never thought I'd hear from him in this lifetime. "I like you." My heart stopped, I don't know how to describe my reaction then apart from pure elation. I hugged you and buried my head in your shoulder and whispered it back. You were so cute and took out a bunch of flowers that you had bought for me. I started chewing them out of anxiety. You put your arms around me and told me about how you wanted to tell me for a long long time but you didn't think I reciprocated the feeling, I laughed and told you not to complain about waiting for a long time because I'm very very sure I'd waited longer than him. We sat quietly in each others arms and just stared at the sunset. I don't think I'd felt such satisfaction in ages. Evrything was just perfect. The impossible had happened. We sat there just talking for so long. We didn't answer our phones at all. It was just you ,me and the world. You kept kissing my head and saying how happy you were, I did it too. We had to leave to meet Haron and Ihsuhk at the fair which drive me crazy because all I wanted was to freeze that moment in time and stay there forever. We got into the rick and you out your arms around me and held my hand and I felt at home like never before. It was one of the best days of my life.
