So I finally linked up with the artist/producer Kay Xilo.  The video focused on  creating the mood to the verse he was laying for this track.  It’s based on how quickly someone’s mood and life changes in an instant.  We shot this at Truth Be Told Studios in Bronx, NY.  The lighting definitely set the mood for the story.  The trickiest part to shooting this video was since we were using the camera in 360 degree motion we kept encountering shadows but we finally were able to find the correct angles. For this video I used the Sony A7Riii with Sony 24-70mm f2.8 lens.  Click on the link to watch and listen to the video! Enjoy!!!

It’s been such a long time since I’ve posted so it’s only right that i do it correctly.  When I first started filming, it was only a hobby.  It has grown into a passion and now a business.  I wanted to kick off a new chapter in Baramee Films with a new logo and show the progression of my journey.  The logo is symbolic to me because it represents the first time I realized I was meant for something more.  I was in Thailand watching the sun rise above this temple and it was then that i decided to create Baramee Films.  I hope you enjoy my work and thank you for the support.

I was able to get a chance to shoot an upcoming music video "Booty" by Lozoneros in the Dominican Republic.  The opportunity also allowed me to capture footage of them as they made their rounds with radio and television shows.  I wanted to bring insight into the hard work and dedication these guys put in along with the good times that come with it.  This is their first vlog and Baramee Films was able to be the first to present it.  Enjoy!

Baramee Films received a mention for the "Hoy Se Bebe" video in the El Nacional, the national newspaper in the Dominican Republic! Congratulations to LoZoneros for their hardwork and dedication!

Lozoneros sound to the rhythm of merenhouse

Three young people of Dominican and Puerto Rican origin, who grew up in the Bronx, New York, decided to take the music area of the urban genre and try different styles of movement. "Sergio Vargas Jr. 'K-boom', Cándido Serrano 'Junez La Voz' and Daniel Lugo 'El Deztino' created Lozoneros. Their New York style is one of the peculiarities of the concept created to finalesdel year 2006, styles that are identified in each musical cut.

After hitting the world with the theme "This Evening Tikita"  from their album "The Crisis Area" and song that opened in Dominican Republic in 2008, Lozoneros bring us now the single "HOY SE BEBE", a theme to the rhythm of merenhouse, which promote along with a visual work done by "Baramee Films". "HOY SE BEBE" is contained in Lozoneros new cd "Somos de Otro Mundo" with arrangements and musical direction of producer Remy Núñez.

After difficult scheduling and tedious hours of shooting, we now have the final product of TOTALMENTE TU by LoZoneros.  I'm very proud of this video because I look back from the first video I ever made and the progression in which my style of shooting and editing has evolved.  This video was made to capture three relationships and the problems artists encounter. One story shows DEZTINO trying to write a song as his girlfriend is pleading for attention.  The second story shows K-BOOM trying to dine with his girlfriend but is constantly interrupted by fans and so his girlfriend is clearly fustrated.  The third story shows JUNEZ in the hotel room telling his girlfriend that he can't make it home and she clearly gets angry telling him that he should be there.  In the end you have a couple who watches their story and they both appreciate the time they share.  Hope you guys enjoy!

This was the first video I ever created.  It was shot with the Samsung Dual Screen TL225 digital camera.  This is what inspired me to get into cinematography.  The video was for an artist by the name of DUCEDON, a rap artist out of Corona, Queens.  The video was for the song "BUD LUV".  It's definitely been a learning curve since I made this video.  Check it out!

Here's the video of DJ SOLO at the Forever Freestyle 6 event at Lehman College!  The energy and the crowd was intense.  For this video, I wanted to show the more personal side to DJ SOLO.  He's a phenomenal dee jay but also a humble dude when it comes to the industry.  We were able to rock out with some of the greatest freestyle artists of this era and it just goes to show you that music is forever!  Enjoy!  Special thanks to More Films for the great camera work!

After weeks of crazy scheduling between filming & editing, the video "HOY SE BEBE" by LoZoneros is finally here!! It took a few tries with the house party scene and improvising to get this video up and running.  We didn't want to do the typical club scene so we stuck with the concept which everyone could relate to, a crazy house party!!  The video was inspired by the movie, "The Hangover".  The video was shot with the Canon Rebel T2i & edited with Final Cut X.  Enjoy!!
