The irony of me saying my BL era is over and then going back to reading almost exclusively BL after like 6 weeks.

So, someone asked me over on Twitter why I decided to move [my livetweet/blog account] to Tumblr instead of just sticking it out when the site might (and did) survive the bad code and its self-DDOSing.

The answer is quite simple: I need something I can rely on. I need to be able to share any commentary (and spoilers) in a fashion that works for both me and anyone who wants to read them on a platform that is stable. Additionally, I used Twitter for discussing translation and localisation, as well as sharing site updates.

If I can't rely on something to at least try staying stable and remain online for things like live commentary and updates, then it seems to be the wrong platform for it.

Tumblr is something that I've been on and used for many years, although it's been periodical at times. That's honestly no different from Twitter though, and, while the format certainly is much different, it's a format I can work with, especially as I have my way around the place. I've tried other places, but they just don't stick.

That's why I moved and why it was to Tumblr.

I preordered the special edition of SVSSS 4 which I absolutely hate as a series, but respect people who do like it. I can probably see the charm. Maybe. It's just not a series for me. Anyway, I preordered the special edition of TGCF 8 as well. If I don't get that I will probably cry for a year because it's one of my favourite fantasy novels of all time, and definitely one of my favourites of danmei.

So yeah, just wanted people to know I'm prepared to have my heart broken because I have since long lost all and any trust in 7S.

Hi y'all! Twitter has finally crashed an burned, so here I am, moved to Tumblr for my live, uh, commenting. I might use a different format here, idk, we'll see, but I'm here anyway. I hope we'll have fun. I'll miss livetweeting tho, ngl.
