I saw a post on Tumblr saying that every self-respecting wlw ship should have at least one piece of fanart referencing Revolutionary Girl Utena, so I felt compelled to draw this piece of MLP fanart with Tempest Shadow and Twilight Sparkle cosplaying as the characters Utena and Anthy. Or rather, I tried to. Turns out dresses are pretty tricky for me to draw, but I'm still happy with how this turned out. ^^

Anyway, the cutie patootie is Dragonfly, the daughter of Spike and Thorax and the (unknowingly) paternal half-sister of Andromeda. Her design is based off of an adoptable that I bought from @purfectprincessgirl on DA almost a decade ago, and I decided to do something different from other Spike x Thorax kids I've seen by making her bipedal.

Dragonfly is kind of a weird kid. She likes to collect random things such as rocks, old bottle caps and bugs (that one especially), and also has a few strange habits such as making random sounds with her mouth and even licking random objects. Dragonfly is generally seen as the weird kid among her peers, but one creature that she really gets along with is Cotton Cloud, a half-draconequus filly who has a few odd habits of her own. Their fellow classmates think it's strange that two oddballs like to hang out together, but Spike and Thorax are just glad that their daughter has a friend.

Speaking of which, the way Spike and Thorax met is a little different from how they met in canon. Thorax still leaves Chrysalis' hive after the invasion on Canterlot, but since Flurry Heart doesn't exist in the DislikedVerse, he was never drawn to the Crystal Empire at the same point he was in the show. It isn't until years later after the birth of Crystal Dagger (by this point, Spike is now a young adult) when Thorax is drawn to the empire due to the love the Crystal Ponies had during the baby prince's Crystalling, except in the DislikedVerse, he isn't alone. In all that time, Chrysalis' hive was struggling to survive, as there was less love for them to feed off of, and their queen was struggling to produce more eggs to keep the hive's numbers off, but Chrysalis refused to seek help for their situation as she was unwilling to lose her position of power over her subjects. Believing that their hive wouldn't last much longer, a small handful of changelings including Pharynx and Ocellus ended up leaving the hive in the hopes of potentially starting a new one elsewhere, and they all end up running into Thorax after leaving. Then, the events of The Times They Are A Changeling play out more or less the same, except with the extra changelings and baby Crystal Dagger. After they explained their plight, Thorax and his fellow good changelings are eventually allowed to live in the Crystal Empire, he and Spike become very close friends and then, after a while, they ended up becoming a couple and had an egg that would hatch into Dragonfly.

Anyway, these four kids are Twilight and Trixie's kids, as well as Andromeda's three half-siblings and one step-sister through Twilight. Though, of course, Andromeda doesn't KNOW that they're her half-siblings since Twilight told her that she was adopted.

Orion Nebula is fourteen years old and the result of a short-lived relationship between Twilight and Flash Sentry. He ended up getting into sports when he was growing up, and ended up discovering his talent in archery. Orion is a very serious and observant pony, and one thing that he's noticed is how much his older sister Andromeda looks like both his mother and his uncle, Spike. True, his mother claims that she was adopted just like Spike was, but still. However, Orion won't say anything and prefers to keep his thoughts to himself.

Magic Act is Twilight and Trixie's ten year old son. His special talent is performing magic shows, and is a very playful and goofy young colt, basically being the class clown of his school.

Moonbeam Bright is Twilight and Trixie's one year old daughter. Her birth came as quite a shock to her parents, as she ended up being born an alicorn, something that neither one of them were expecting. Since she's still a baby, Moonbeam is innocent, naive, and a little hyperactive (Basically, she's this universe's equivalent of Flurry Heart).

Jinx Gambit is the result of a one night stand between Trixie and Flim, as well as the oldest of the bunch, being just a year older than Andromeda. She's basically the cool older sister of the family, being a mature and pretty chill mare most of the time. She's also a big fan of punk rock and is the lead singer of a band that she formed with some of her friends, which was how she discovered her special talent.

The daughter of Sweetie Belle and Snips, Pixie Cut is a little pudgier that most other foals her age, but that just makes her cuter. She's a silly filly and a bit of a jokester, basically being the class clown in school. When she's not acting silly, Pixie likes to hang out with her older cousin, Mercury Bubbles. Granted, she doesn't always understand the stuff that Mercury likes to talk about, but she still enjoys to listen.

This guy is actually an old OC that I originally created in 2017, but I decided to give him a complete overhaul as I was never fully satisfied with his design. His mane color comes from Rumble's coat, while his coat color was made by blending Thunderlane's coat with Snap Shutter (Scootaloo's dad)'s mane. I'm pretty satisfied with how this turned out.

Silver Lining is the son of Scootaloo and Rumble. He's technically a pegasus, but he was born with wings that were fused together, which had to be amputated as a result. Silver is okay with having no wings for the most part, but sometimes wishes that he could fly. His favorite pony in the whole world (besides his parents, of course) is Hot Shot, his occasional foalsitter who he loves to play sports games with, mainly basketball. While he hasn't found his talent yet, Silver later ends up running a support group for flightless pegasi when he grows up.

Havoc is the son of Discord and Lork Tirek and the step-son of Pinkie Pie, and was conceived around the time Tirek tried to conquer Equestria as he wanted a to have an heir (In my headcanon, full-blooded draconequui are able to become pregnant by or impregnate a partner regardless of gender). About a month after Tirek's defeat, Discord discovered that he was carrying his child and managed to keep his condition hidden from everypony else for as long as possible, but when he couldn't hide it any longer, he retreated to his home in Chaosville and had his little hybrid cub in secret. While initially uncertain on what to do, Discord end up loving his son right from the start and decided to keep him, naming him Havoc.

When Discord eventually decided to reveal his child's existence, there was a bit of uproar over the news of a magic-stealing creature who almost took over Equestria having a child, and it was decided on what would be done with him. The Princesses knew that it would be cruel to destroy Havoc since he was just an innocent baby who didn't even ask to be born, but there was still the possibly that he could become a creature of darkness later on. Ultimately, it was decided that Discord would be allowed to keep him as long as he raised him to be good. He later gets help with raising Havoc when he ends up marrying Pinkie Pie a couple years later.

Fortunately, Havoc shows zero signs of turning out to be like his sire, Tirek. Despite his frightening appearance, he's actually very timid and gentle as a lamb, preferring to keep to himself most of the time. He's very close with his step-mom Pinkie, who loves him like an actual son, and instantly fell in love with his three little half-sisters when they randomly popped into existence, and acts very protective of them despite his timid nature. Havoc did inherit his sire's ability to absorb magic from ponies, but he refuses to use it. He's heard frightening things about Tirek, and the thing that he's most afraid of is becoming just like him.

Weeping Willow (or just Willow) is the son of Fluttershy and Iron Will. He's a very gentle and soft-spoken hybrid whose talent is making flower bouquets. While he has the strength and muscle of a minotaur, Willow isn't really as tough as one. He avoids conflict whenever he can and prefers to spend his time relaxing and smelling flowers, often partaking in things that others would see as more feminine. This kinda puts him at odds with his father Iron Will, who wishes that his son would partake in things more manly, but Fluttershy supports her son's interests.

Willow is also the coltfriend of Mercury Bubbles, the two of them having bonded over the fact that they don't exactly see eye-to-eye with their respective dads.

This is Rose du Matin, the illegitimate daughter of Prince Blueblood and Fleur de Lis and the (unknowingly) half-sister of Mercury Bubbles. She's a babysitter in Canterlot and often looks after various young foals, with one of her most frequent charges being Princess Moon Crater. She's a very kind and patient mare and can pretty much take anything that little kids can dish out, making her very reliable.

As for how she came to be, Blueblood had an affair shortly before Rarity got pregnant with Mercury. Wanting to avoid a scandal, he agreed to send Fleur money to help support her and the foal as long as she didn't tell anypony else who the father was. Blueblood has been secretly sending Fleur child support checks behind Rarity's back all these years, and when asked about her daughter's parentage, Fleur just says that she was conceived via sperm donor.

Anyway, this is Princess Majesty aka Mercury Bubbles, the daughter of Rarity and Prince Blueblood. She's a huge nerd and she's not ashamed of that. Mercury is really into manga, particularly stuff that involves magical girls, and it's actually what lead to her finding her cutie mark. Her special talent is cosplaying, and while Rarity doesn't completely understand most of the series that her daughter is into, she still supports her nonetheless. Blueblood, on the other hand, finds his daughter's nerdiness a little embarrassing.

These two kids are Shining Armor and Princess Cadance's respective kids in the DislikedVerse. The unicorn mare is Chickadee, the daughter of Shining Armor and Ms. Peachbottom and the young colt is Prince Crystal Dagger, the son of Cadance and Spearhead. This is also a good time to mention how the DisliskedVerse diverges from the show's canon as well as why Shining and Cadance went their separate ways. After the events of the episode Slice of Life in this AU, Cadance ends up having a miscarriage early on in her pregnancy which means that she and Shining Armor end up losing what could've been baby Flurry Heart. The couple tries to heal from the tragic event, but after a while they could no longer stand to be in each other's presence and have a very amicable divorce. Shining starts dating Ms. Peachbottom soon afterwards and they end up conceiving a daughter named Chickadee, the two ponies later getting married when Chickadee is almost one. Twilight and Spike end up staying in the Crystal Empire for a little while to help Shining with the new baby, which resulted in Andromeda being "born", so to speak. It took a little longer for Cadance to move on, but she eventually ended up settling down with Spearhead and has a healthy little son named Crystal Dagger.

Chickadee's talent is breeding prize-winning chickens, but she occasionally foalsits on the side with her favorite charge being young Crystal Dagger. Dagger hasn't discovered his talent yet, but he wants to be a guard just like his dad once was when he grows up. The two ponies are very close friends, with the two of them actually viewing each other as siblings despite not being related.

This is Oogie Boogie, the 16 (almost 17!) year old son of Tree Hugger and The Smooze. Technically he's genderless since he's basically a large blob of jello shaped like a pony, but chooses to identify as male. Oogie is a huge jazzercise enthusiast, which can get pretty interesting in the classes he attends as he'll typically wobble all over the place given his body's not fully solid consistency. He's definitely a pretty interesting fellow to hang out with.

As for his parents, Tree Hugger and The Smooze are quite the interesting couple. The two of them started to hang out frequently after the Grand Galloping Gala and they just sorta happened. It's not known how they were even able to conceive a child since one's a pony and the other is a sentient blob of slime, but life finds a way apparently.

These three are Fairy Floss, Cocoa Puff and Cotton Cloud, the 10 year old triplet daughters of Pinkie Pie and Discord and the younger half-sisters of Laffy Taffy and Sweet Treat. Pinkie ended up dating Discord around the time her two twins were five, the two of them ended up falling in love, they later got married and then these three popped into existence. And by that I mean nopony is entirely sure how these were born since Pinkie didn't show any signs of being pregnant. Since their parents are a hyperactive fourth wall-breaking party pony and a being of chaos, these three are understandably pretty odd.

Despite being made up of parts of different creatures, Fairy Floss is probably the most normal out of the three. While having the exact same abilities as her two parents (her dad's chaos magic and her mom's fourth wall breaking), Floss in more grounded in reality and doesn't use them that often. She's perfect content with behaving like a normal pony, or as normal as a pony/draconequus hybrid can be anyway.

Cocoa Puff ended up inheriting her mom's hyperactivity and has a tendancy to bounce off the walls. Literally. To Cocoa, gravity isn't a law but more like a polite suggestion. One of her favorite things to do is surprise passing ponies by standing on the bottom of tree branches. Some classmates of hers have claimed to see her walk through walls, but this has yet to be proven. Cocoa neither confirms nor denies it.

Cotton Cloud is probably the strangest out the three sisters. She was born with an extra set of limbs as well as a third eye with which she is able to see...things. She won't tell anypony what she's able to see as she thinks it's more fun not to, but some ponies suspect that she's able to see into the future as she'll sometimes ask random things like "Do you think it'll rain tomorrow?" She's an odd one, that's for sure.
