Well hello again. I've been on summer break for about a month now, and seeing how plans for a summer class and job fell through, it's looking to be a bit boring. I did teach myself how to cross stitch through!

Things I accomplished today:

Did a ballet barre this morning

Finished my beautiful pink pony frog cross stitch (I definitely copied the pattern from pintrist)

Had an unsuccessful shopping trip for clothes

Worked out

Tried a new muffin recipe

Stretched this evening

So yeah, we'll see how this summer goes.

It's been a bit, but alas I am alive and well to share a weekend full of aaaaaaaaaaaa classes end in a week. (I haven't started packing yet)

Things I accomplished:

Flimed, directed, and edited a dance film for my media final

Wrote a film review for media class

Caught up on like the 5 assignments I hadn't done for music theory

Performed a piece in this festival thing, that was fun

Wrote a reflection paper for improv class

Decided on a title for my improv final peice

I definitely meant to do laundry and start packing this weekend, but that didn't happen. I also didn't write my modern reflection paper or do the final exam for media class, but that's alright, I will somehow find time.

It's been a bit, I had spring break, a conference, and I turned 19! But this weekend was definitely full.

Things I accomplished:

Took photos for stop motion project

Too many hours of rehearsals (like 8 hours)

Finished music midterm

Did laundry

Read more of my book

Went to my first ever concert!

Overall pretty great weekend.

I had quite the eventful weekend

Things that happened/I accomplished

I performed in a dance concert, including a few pieces that I choreographed!

I read a lot more of my book (finally)

Did laundry

Went to art museum

Had the power go out in half of campus

Went to coffee shop to work on stuff

Started critique essay

Started finding choreographers for an assignment

Played card games in the dark with friends

Won the bet on when the lights would come back on (they were out for 8 hours)

But in a week I fly home for spring break! Yippee!

Classes got canceled due to snow today! So I spent the day actually being pretty productive.

Things I accomplished:

Spent hours trying to perfectly remove a background from a logo for a graphic design project

Worked through my solo for an upcoming dance performance

Spent more time going insane trying to remove the background from this logo

Found my sounds for improv class

Caught up on my journal entries for improv class

Classes also got canceled tomorrow, so the goal will be to try and finish the graphic design project now that the background is removed.

Today was pretty good! I performed the closing show of the dance concert, despite having mildly injured my back earlier in the week. Don't know why this is the second time I've gotten injured during tech week, but I don't like this trend.

Things I accomplished:

Performed dance concert!

Ran into friends when getting dinner and joined them to the library

Did readings for media class

Planned out graphic design project for media class

Caught up on the journal entries I was supposed to do this past week for improv

Read my book

First real productive day of the semester!

Things I accomplished:

Had a great ballet class, which is definitely due to the new leo I was wearing

Did readings and journal entries for improv

Worked on choreography for a peice I entirely changed today

Took photographs for media class

Did worksheets for music theory

Survived two hour rehearsal I forgot I had

Overall, having a pretty good start to the semester!

Hello! This blog was inspired by my bestie @bartholomewthestudyduck's! I'll be posting my homework and notes pretty much daily because I think that'll be pretty good motivation for me to take good notes and not procrastinate on homework! Feel free to interact, I love making new friends!

Anyways here's a little bit about me! (I should probably actually do this on my main blog too, I never made an intro post there lol)

• Name: Lun, Lune, Lunie, or Lumi are all fine! I'm also cool with other nicknames as long as you ask first

•Age: 18

•Pronouns: Any, though I prefer not it/its unless you know me well in which case it's fine

•Major: I'm currently majoring in mechanical engineering and minoring in computer science and physics! (I am stressed)! I'm also probably planning to go on to get a masters and possibly a PhD in either mechanical engineering or physics!

•Interests: I love dance! I danced competitively for most of my life, and while I no longer dance at a studio, I do make time to dance on my own! I also love science, especially astrophysics. I'm always happy to talk music as well, I like something from pretty much all genres, and AURORA is my favourite artist! I like to read (Though I haven't had much time to read for fun during the semesters) and play video games. My favourite video game right now is Rabbit and Steel (if anyone wants to play with me let me know please please please I need people to play it with.) I also love the Little Nightmares games! I'm currently deep within a batfam hyperfixation and I don't see that going away any time soon!

This week went really well. I got to fly home and visit family, and when I came back to campus, it snowed! I live a bit farther south than my college, so snow is always such a magical experience for me. I also finally finished writing my second critique essay, so no more of those until next semester. And, over the past few weeks I have been watching the owl house. I finally finshed and I just have to say that I am completely obsessed and it is occupying my mind at all time. I hope anyone entering finals week soon does well and takes care of themselves!

I've now completed my second college dance concert! This time with the minor complication of mildly injuring my wrist during tech rehearsal. I also went to see a show on Saturday so I can finally write my second dance critique. Other things I did this weekend include, taking some more physics notes, having hours of rehearsals, finishing the swan lake paper, and I started the owl house, which I am already obsessed with. I am so ready to fly home for Thanksgiving in a few days.

I definitely meant to post this yesterday, but I guess I just procrastinated on this as well. But this past week was certainly something. The campus was so bleak on Wednesday, everyone, myself included, was so down after those election results. Not what I wanted to wake up to see. However, the weekend was pretty decent. I finished the current event discussion post, reviewed choreography, and found music for a piece. I also decided to relearn physics on my own! I found lectures from a college physics one class on YouTube, and I started to relearn it. It's really satisfying the math part of my brain!

Overall, this weekend was pretty good. I wrote my paper on Giselle, which I never knew about some of the different versions of the ballet, and I find the way how the Willis are often changed to represent how women were exploited in different time periods and cultures to be so intresting. I love Giselle even more now! I also had the first rehearsals for the next dance concert, and I'm enjoying the piece! And I slept through a tornado warning. I hope yalls weekend went well.

So it's been a few weeks, I had multiple auditions, fall break, and some rest, but this weekend, it was time to actually do stuff again. I worked on some choreography and a warm up to teach tomorrow, and I started the reading assignment for my ballet class. I also voted! Well, I haven't sent the ballot yet, as I have to do mail in ballot, but once I find where on campus I can send mail, that will be done. I'm also finally registered for my classes next semester, and even though I had to change my minor, I'm excited for them.

I've completed my first college dance concert! And it went really well, even though I had to go on for the piece I understudy for. Anyways, performance week meant I had no time for homework, so I did my entire dance critique paper today. I also meant to work on my presentation that's due this week, but that did not happen, so I'll be doing it tomorrow.

I finally wrote the essay I've been procrastinating on! However, that does mean I now need to work on the presentation I've also been procrastinating. Also, tech week for the dance concert starts on Monday I'll be tired, but it'll be fun.

I'm pretty happy with today. I woke up early to do a load of laundry before rehearsal this morning. Then, after rehearsal, I walked over to a coffee shop to work on an essay, and I actually did stuff, unlike the other times in my dorm this week when I said I would do that essay. This evening, I had three more hours of rehearsals and finally finished the discussion post I've been procrastinating. I really wish I could work like this more often, but I'm glad it happened today.

Edit: ok, small update but I just took a shower and for the first time ever, the shower actually heated up to 100°F! I love taking hot showers, this made me very happy.
