so much of the french revolution is just various people going "surely committing THIS act of violence/murder will end all the suffering and bloodshed and usher in peace!" followed by a summary of how everything immediately escalated and got even worse afterward. and somehow this website's takeaway is "clearly acts of violence and murder are the only way to end suffering and usher in peace!"

I don't know guys I think we might actually have to actually put in effort and not conflate working toward a better society with seeking personal catharsis.

Aanya’s mothers died when she was an infant and has grown up surrounded by toxic palacehands and people trying to ASSASSINATE her. A CHILD. PEOPLE TRYNA KILL A KID. AND SHE USED A PLURAL. MORE THAN ONCE THIS GIRL HAS SURVIVED ASSASSINATION.

“She’s too mature.” Question? Mark?? Marks??? Geoffrey, she’d be DEAD if she wasn’t! “She’s just there to offer counselling to Ezran—” How about you don’t even go there, how’s that sound? SHE HAS HER OWN CHARACTER, TDP WAS JUST HORRID AT MANAGING THEIR SCREENTIIIME! Maybe she’s offering counselling to Ez because she’s also, oh, I dunno, A TEENAGER WITH A CROWN THRUST UPON HER HEAD AND KNOWS WHAT IT’S LIKE?!

The Aanya slander / hate I see is just appalling. Read between the lines, go read the novelisations, matter of fact. Go do a deep dive into her character and then come back and tell me she’s “just there and pretty much useless”.

There's just so many fics I want to write about Aaravos in his time with Leola. Mostly in how ST Elves don't really have a lot going on in terms of parenting practices since their own children are so rare; so he borrows from the mortal elves.

And then he attempts their grieving rituals. And they don't help. Specifically like. On top of everything else going on with things being sour around the Sun primal, it's too late to light a soul candle for her. And even then, her soul wouldn't be going to the sun. It would be going to the heavens...or back to him.

As far as he can tell...she didn't.
