The Tea Shop in Gotham

DP x DC Prompt

Danny had fled the horrors his parents and the GIW put him through. His council had wanted to go to war with the entire world, but he convinced them all that only his parents and the GIW were at fault, so he hides in Gotham, while being protected by the city spirit while he heals. His council will deal with his parents and the GIW in the meantime. He knows Jazz will not lighten or add on to the crimes of their parents and the GIW.

Clockwork had gotten Danny to appreciate tea, with how many times he was offered it when the Time Ghost had invited him to unwind after being stressed out over his duties as Ghost King.

He decides to open a tea shop in Gotham using some of his inherited riches to buy a building to set it up. Within a couple of weeks, the Spectral Tea Shop is open for business.

At first, he doesn't get many customers, but he does slowly gain regulars that enjoy the relaxing ambiance of his tea shop, and with Lady Gotham's help, his tea shop hasn't been robbed at all.

He enjoys the company of one Alfred Pennyworth when the elderly man comes to his tea shop on his days off, not knowing that the Wayne family will encounter his shop on their quest to find out where Alfred goes when he's on his day off.

Why, why, why is are there people who believes that trans shouldn’t exist? They cannot help if they are not comfortable in their own bodies. You cannot hate them on that fact only. Trans people are still people. We all have red blood. We all need water, food and oxygen. There is no difference. We shouldn’t care whether someone is male, female or trans. We shouldn’t define people based on their gender. We cannot. It is not what they are that matters, but who.

You might think that trans are unnatural, and that’s you. There is no need to tell every one that you hate them or that you think they shouldn’t exist. KEEP IT TO YOURSELF! We don’t care about your opinion, but when you make it public ally know, it hurts. It hurts every trans who sees it and every one who supports them. Everyone deserves a chance to be who they want to be.

I don’t know who is going to read this, but I need the message to get out. Every deserves to be who they want to be. Imagine this. You are who you are, you like who you like, you dress how you like. Then, there are millions of people suddenly hating you because you want to be you. How does it make you feel? Now imagine it is you who is the one hating on them. How do you feel?

This is not a nonsense. This is real. Words have effects, and they can stay with someone for their whole life. And sometimes, the words can get too much. They might start to hate themselves. They might not. It either way, it doesn’t excuse the hatred towards transgenders. Tags like ‘trans hate’, ‘trans shitposting’, ‘anti trans’, shouldn’t exist. Trans people exist, and there is nothing you can do to change it.

There are over 8 billion people in the world, and there are about 240,000,000 people who are trans. When you hate trans, that's how many people you hate in the world. Do you want that? To hate over 240,000,000 people just because they are trans?

Ask yourself this question. Am I right in hating trans? If the answer in no, then stop hating them. If the answer is yes, then shame on you.
