The red one is probably at least a year old, but I still like it!!

The other two are BRAND new! The yellow one is my fav, but both of the new ones are based off Kiy Jax/Delta greens King in Yellow in general

The first time she kills one of her puppet Codys!! Her eyes only go back to normal in very specific situations but i REALLY wanted to draw her with her normal eyes (that she based agent on) so here u go 🙏🙏

DESIGN NOTES!!!

Pawn - As always, gold earrings and glasses + chain in infection au, silver in happy au i CAN'T stop doing this!!

Eyes are still fucked up in happy au from infection like I said in the og post

Hair is spikey and messy in infection au, bouncy and round + longer in happy au

Shes on estrogen in happy au #queen

She still has the self harm scars from when she was infected in happy au, but shes stopped hiding them because she's come to terms with her infection/past and isn't afraid to wear clothes she actually enjoys

She has a promise ring in both designs!! (she does NOT have this ring in her main au with her Cody!!)

I put her in yellow because I think it's a color she actually enjoys, and when she's no longer infected she feels comfortable wearing it, and also the outfit itself gives me wedding photographer vibes which is what she is, and also she doesn't feel like she needs to hide herself because she cut off her mom

King - Promise ring is gold in the infected au because it reminds me more of royalty/king aesthetic, and silver in happy au you get it blah blah (Just like Pawn, she does NOT have the ring in her aus with her Cody!!)

Eyes are still crazy from infection au just like Pawn #matching

Very pale in her infection au because shes constantly inside, more tan in her happy au because she does animal photography!!

Hair is down in infection au cause ahe doesn't take care of it all, its up + shorter in happy au because shes taking care of herself, and it helps keep hair out of her face during her shoots while shes outside

He wears earrings in the happy au, they were a gift from Pawn and it helps him feel like he's expressing himself

He originally hid his scars in happy au, but being outside all the time in the heat and encouragement from Pawn that she didn't have to hide them made him stop hiding his scars

Her change is way more drastic because she was WAY more infected then Pawn (deeper in her psychosis/under more control etc)

Dresses more masculine because he doesn't have the constant pressure from his mother anymore, who he cut off just like Pawn did #matching (King uses She/He btw)

I'm gonna do a GIANT post all about them and their aus and how they're connected to og agent and my own projections of my Bipolar etc etc

i love how drastic Kings change is compared to Pawn!! Shows how much more affected she was than Pawn (ofc Pawn still suffered greatly but yk)

ANYWAY here are Pawn and Kings refs!! I did happy au and every other au for them both!! They're both FUCKED but i love them...I really like Pawns dress, and the subtle changes I did on purpose :3 (The change in jewelry color, the change in hairstyle and personal style, the fact the eyes are still fucked up despite the change showing how they're still affected, blah blah blah)

The reason Pawns pose slightly changes and Kings didn't is cause I'm lazy

DESGIN NOTES!!

She wore silver jewelry before she ascended (minus the locket) because that's a staple for me, silver = not/fighting against infection

The scars she got from her cat Cloud when she saved/adopted her, thats why (most) Jaxs have a Cloud, because she misses her cat, and the scars are what she based Patients off of

The curls in her hair are a reference to Nurse and her ascended form because I'm always thinking of swirls when it comes to infection (the carrot hair clip is also a reference to Nurses original design!!)

Her eyes are based off Agents, because of her infection stage at the time of drawing!!

The koi fish locket is basically a show of like 'this was always her 'destiny', the black fish is her before she ascended, the orange is her after ascension

She still has her silver ring in her Kiy form, because it was a gift from Cody, and she was wearing it as she ascended, i just. didn't draw her hands

Her before form is based off a casual wear 1920s dress, her kiy form is based off a 1920s party dress (#carcosa #thealwaysparty)

The peacock feathers are because one of the many names for The king in Yellow is the peacock king

Her eyes are always like that in her kiy form, except for moments of intense emotions/when i have a drawing idea for it

The tassels on her dress are silver, partly because I didn't wanna overwhelm it with yellow, partly because it's a nod to her previous life etc

Shes larger in her kiy form, with more weight to her and taller, I think she aged slightly when she ascended just from like all the power and whatever, and since shes a king shes always eating at feasts and drinking wine (or patsu) and stuff like that

Made Paitent Jaxs official ref for artfight, and then played around with this tutorial i saw on TikTok with him!! the cardboard texture is gonna be used for something (hopefully) 😈....

IT IS OFFICIALLY DONE!! took away some details, but I'm honestly just so proud of this!! it was fun to just force myself to sit and draw, and it's so rewarding to see an actual fully fledged drawing :3

Desgin/lore notes under the cut!!

- Kings ring is the thick gold one, engraved with 'My Dearest Jax', words chosen by Pawn!! Thick because shes fat (if this doesn't come across I TRIED MY BEST!!!!! i haven't drawn in so long, she looks fat in her ref i swear 😭😭) and also it gives off a more kingly vibe to me? And gold as a bit of symbolism for her infection, I think in the happy au they both have silver

- Pawns ring is the thin silver one, engraved with 'Jax' because King doesn't use too many words. She prefers thin because it makes doing work on computers and such easier for her, and she likes the look. Plus she has skinny fingers. She doesn't have gold, because shes not as infected as King is (in universe she just prefers silver)

- The squiggles on the paper are words ofc, the small dots are meant to be smudges kinda. The dark spots by 'Jax' are meant to be tear drops!!

- Kings eyes are leaking patsu ofc #deltagreen, and the small uncolored spot is a bruise by her eye from the big injection needle that they shove in your eye to drain the patsu in delta green impossible landscapes!!

- Pawn has a little tear in her eye, but I purposely made it hard to see idk why

- I tried to give Pawn more light shading in the hair, plus a shine in the eye to kind of give the vibe of her in a 'brighter' area/time of her life. But, she still has the eye motif I give infected Jaxs (mostly, not Nurse), because she'll forever be changed by her infection, and King will always be a part of her.

- It's not obvious, but King has no eye shine, and her hair is kind of shaded a bit darker. Not too big, cause I was tired by the time I got to her 💀💀 but shes still in a dark time in her life, and always will be, now that she's in the Dorchester house. (mental hospital in delta green impossible landscapes)
