The Shop is open! Come by and buy some stickers.
I’ll close shop when there’s a lot of orders so I can catch up, but for now it’s open for business!

I know I haven’t been on here in a while, but I’m selling some stamps! I’m kind of seeing how it is to sell linocut prints before I start producing and selling my bird tarot card decks, so keep an eye out for that.
Check back on November 28th for the store drop… now go forth and enjoy birds!!

Hello it’s been a while! I’m going to be starting up a shop soon where I sell my linocuts as stickers! They’re each hand carved and hand made.

Hey everyone, sorry about the long wait times in between rounds. This one especially, since it’s the finale, but my dad’s having some medical issues that have made him bed ridden which is why I’m a little too busy to get around to it. It’s possible that the next round won’t have all the fun facts like last time, I think to make it easier on me I’m going to just have it be pictures. Sorry about that.

I can't believe I never realize this poll existed until now. I wish I could've been there to either submit or vote for nightjars forever
Well I’m hoping that I can do another tournament one day when my life isn’t so hectic. But hell yeah I love nightjars :)

i think it’s too late to save mourning dove but i think some good propaganda would be stupid dove nests
Omg I love stupid little dove nests 💜 also it’s not too late, the polls keep swinging back and forth so it’s possible it’ll swing back for the doves (they were in the lead this morning). Anyway, here’s a little collection of dove nests.

Honestly I should’ve seen the Common Raven kicking ass and taking names miles ahead… but will the gorgeous raven be able to stand up against the scraggly wonderful Little Rock dove? We will see….

Common Raven
The common raven is a very smart bird. They have even been found to be drawn to gunshot sounds, as they know hunters will often kill animals. People have always been fascinated by ravens, and in London it’s said that if the ravens of London tower ever leave the whole British empire will crumble! They’re also seen as tricksters in Pacific Northwest Native American tribes. In one myth, they are told to have brought fire to people by stealing the sun. Learn More! Much More
Secretary Bird
With big, voluptuous eyelashes, the Secretary Bird lives in Africa. They are known for their long legs, used to strike down snakes, lizards, insects, and other small creatures. Although we often think of them as eating mainly snakes, that is not actually a large part of their diet. It consists mainly of insects. They will strike with 5 times their own body weight, and will sometimes hunt in small groups. Learn More!

My unbridled joy of seeing these polls up again is probably about the same as when I saw a woodpecker for the first time outside my house irl. (Very happy)

Kiwi
Ah, the Kiwi. Yet again another flightless bird from New Zealand, who is still recovering from the introduction of predators to its homeland. They are the smallest living ratites (which includes emus and cassowaries), and true to their name they are New Zealand's response to the lack of rats on the island. This niche was filled in by the kiwi. They are nocturnal and lay very large eggs compared to their body size. Learn More!

Passenger Pigeon
Although the passenger pigeon is extinct, they still hold a tender place in everyone’s hearts. Hunted to extinction, the Passenger Pigeon used to come in huge flocks of billions. They used to be the most abundant bird in North America. This is part of the reason they went extinct, as efforts to breed them in captivity failed since they needed large flocks to meet their breeding criteria. Learn More!
