Challenges

There are a number of challenges at the Battle of Tables Culinary Studio in New York City. Each month features a different theme and challenges for the contestants. Each challenge requires the chefs to design a menu and construct several dishes. The challenges may be a simple "taste it, now make it" task or as complex as a full breakfast or lunch service.

Past sous-chefs

Past sous-chefs at Battle of Tables have included MaryAnn Salcedo, Gloria Felix, Heather West, and Scott Leibfried. They've also worked with James Avery, Aaron Mitrano, and James "Jocky" Petrie. While Nicotra was out for season 15 because she was getting married, she returned for themed dinner services. But in season 17 and beyond, she was replaced by Wilson.
