Design Facts of Characters

As all the characters on here were designed originally to be sold, I felt it might be a bit fun to mention some of the design decisions that came when purchasing them. Some have a bit more to them than just being designed around the pokemon’s conception, with others like Valerie having the weirdest of beginnings. If you’d like to learn a bit more about the character’s designs from a commission standpoint this is the best way to do so...or asking me directly too.

Sword Cast

Charles ( Grookey )

Was designed 4 months after Grookey’s announcement ( 6/11 ).

Was the artist’s second attempt at Grookey.

Was originally female, but the artist redesigned them to be male on my request.

Vanissa ( Scorbunny )

Was designed the first-day Scorbunny was announced ( 2/27 ).

Due to when they were made, they’re the artist’s first attempt at Scorbunny.

Henry ( Sobble )

Was designed 4 months after Sobble’s announcement ( 6/11 ).

Was the artist’s second attempt at Sobble.

Was originally female, but the artist redesigned them to be male on my request.

Patterns are meant to represent rain clouds as you can probably notice.

Serena ( Wooloo )

Was designed the first-day Wooloo was announced ( 6/05 ).

Due to when they were made, they’re the artist’s first attempt at Wooloo.

The one pokemon I struggled to resist getting, but temptations won out in the end.

Valerie ( Galarian Farfetch’d )

Was originally designed as a Kantonian Farfetch’d as far back as December 2018, but was converted into a Galarian due to the theme of an oversized leek and strong frame.

The Leek’s bulky style gives it an axe like look to it, especially with the “bladed” top to it.

Happens to be the artist’s 3rd attempt at Farfetch’d.

Louisa ( Sirfetch’d )

Was designed the first-day Sirfetch’d was officially announced ( 9/18 ).

The excitement of the announcement led the artist to make 4 Sirfettch’d back to back.

The order of weapons each Sirfetch’d in the batch had been Sword & Shield ( Louisa ), Axe & Buckler, Dual Blades, and Lance & Shield.

Due to when they were made, they’re the artist’s first attempt at Sirfetch’d.

Amity ( Greedent )

Was designed a few days after Sword and Shield were released. ( 11/18 ).

Due to when they were made, they’re the artist’s first attempt at Greedent.

Minor edits were made to fix the eyes.

Vida ( Dracozolt )

Was designed more than a week after Sword and Shield were released ( 11/29 ).

Due to when they were made, they’re the artist’s first attempt at Dracozolt.

Was designed with a body horror theme in mind thanks to the Shiny Dracozolt colors.

Meredith ( Zacian )

Was designed a week after Sword and Shield’s release as an auction design ( 11/24 ).

Due to when they were made, they’re the artist’s first attempt at Zacian.

Had a Starting Bid of $45 with a final bid of $65.

Only came with a “Hero of Many Battles” form for the adopt, but was later given a Crowned Form as a patreon reward.

Kritanta ( Eternatus )

Was originally designed to be kept and used by the artist, but another Eternatus later and they offered the first one as an auction.

With the auctions Starting Bid of $65, the design was later posted with a flat sale of $70 ( $65 for Patrons ) and was later purchased by me.

The project file shows signs of giving them a proper name and a cloth covering, but was given to the newer Eternatus the artist owned.

The artist refused to do an Eternamax form, but loved the idea of having it be a 3 headed serpent with 2 arms.

Shield Cast

Josephine ( Inteleon )

Was designed a few days after Sword and Shield were released. ( 11/18 ).

Due to when they were made, they’re the artist’s first attempt at Inteleon.

Gabriella ( Cinderace )

Was designed a few days after Sword and Shield were released. ( 11/18 ).

Due to when they were made, they’re the artist’s first attempt at Cinderace.

When through plenty of design changes and redesigns involving the patterns on her body. ( Turning the blue markings red, giving the pants a unique look, etc. )

Vittoria ( Thievul )

Was designed the night when Sword and Shield were released.

Due to when they were made, they’re the artist’s first attempt at Thievul.

Was originally designed wit normal colored, but was recolored to be shiny by me.

Dara ( Grapploct )

Was designed during the artist’s daily December event, being design number 28 ( 12/28 ). 

The event saw the artist choosing a random pokemon and a random palette each day to create a design, shown by the weird coloration the Grapploct has.

Was the artist’s second attempt at Grapploct.

Anya ( Toxtricity )

Was designed as a set of 2, alongside a low-key Toxtricity. ( 11/24 )

Both designs were priced at $30 a piece ( $25 for Patrons ), but could be bought together for $55  ( $50 for Patrons )

Maria ( Indeedee )

Was designed on ( 3/05 )

Was the artist’s 3rd Indeedee design.

Originally had hooves, but were changed to regular toes.

Originally had heart eyes, but were removed to reel back on the love theme.

Portia ( Cramorant )

Was designed the night Cramorant was announced ( 9/04 )

Due to when they were made, they’re the artist’s first attempt at Cramorant.

Dominique ( Obstagoon )

Was designed around the time Obstagoon was announced ( 8/08 ).

Due to when they were made, they’re the artist’s first attempt at Obstagoon.

Was originally female, but the artist redesigned them to be male on my request...but then I turned back into a female. 

The male edit is being reused as a twin to the female design to help push their family being large.

Hazel ( Morpeko )

Was designed around the time when Morpeko was announced ( 8/07 ).

Due to when they were made, they’re the artist’s first attempt at Morpeko.

Was originally designed right alongside a Hangry Morpeko with a solid price of $20 each ( $15 for Patrons ).

Emeline & Archer ( Dragapult & Dreepy )

Was designed a week after Sword and Shield was released ( 11/29 ).

Due to when they were made, they’re the artist’s first attempt at Dragapult and Dreepy.

The Dreepy was added during the design process and sold as a duo for $40 ( $35 for Patrons ).

Valencia ( Duraludon )

Was designed during the artist’s Duraludon flood, where the design focus was, of course, Duraludon ( 1/13 )

Was the 4th Duraludon of the batch of 5 making her the 5th Duraludon the artist has made

Originally had blue teeth, but was changed to be white with a sharp design and the implication of an unhinging jaw.

Valerie: “Well it’s not like I’ll be a small Farfetch’d forever. Eventually, every pokemon grows in size, even by a little.”

(( I’d say for Valerie she’s slightly in that range of just reaching 6 ft if she can get the boost she needs, likely from evolving. At least Crewel has the fortune of not meeting a 14-foot pokemon. Probably doesn’t help that dolls aren’t prone to growing in size. ))

Crewel:  Seriously, lady, who let you be this tall?  You’re makin’ me look bad down here. (( @ziggyzackaryzigzagoon I just really really wanted to draw this cool gal next to grumpy little potato sack man since I missed out earlier.  I hope I did her justice!!!  )) ((For ref, Crewel is only about 2 feet, and Valerie is like… 5 ½ feet?))

Pokemon of Galar Cast now viewable on blog page.

After weeks of struggling to work with Tumblr’s blog customization features to allow link embedding ( You have to use Ctrl + K as the prompt doesn’t work ), I have now created a page on the blog with all the characters proudly listed. For those wanting to view what characters are available for asks and the like, I hope this may help. I recommend checking these every once in a while if any more reference images may pop up.

Character Patch Notes ( 4 / 1 )

For the past few weeks, a large majority of characters have been getting revamps and new stories to go with their exclusion in the upcoming story. As a result, I decided to compile most of the surface level changes for those that wish to see just what has changed for the characters. Don’t worry, I did my best to make it as compact as possible.

Charles ( Grookey )

I took the liberty of rewriting Charles’s backstory to open him up as a Grookey who, under the passion of his father and brother, is a Grookey aspiring to partake in the gym challenge and practice his drumming skills. As well as being the one to often help cheer others up during a tough situation.

I decided to focus on revamping a number of characters with Vanissa being one of the bigger ones due to the lacking feeling in her character. I decided on having her and Gabriella, her Cinderace Sister, have difficult terms together which could lead to story and interaction between the two. I also wish to avoid all of Vanissa’s character being the hot-headed one of the group.

Not much was needed to be changed for Henry seeing as how his character is the sort I would imagine, but I did revamp his bio to help shape as to why he’s still nervous at such an old age. I did feel him showing signs of wanting to change, yet being held back by fears that still haven’t left him, could make for a nice character that could have some interaction and such involving him.

Serena ( Wooloo )

Serena’s bio was pretty old, mainly being made when Wooloo was first introduced and had little to no changes outside of including the name of her younger brother. With that said, her backstory was changed to allow for how she met her current friends and the intrigue she has on wanting to see more of the region.

I wanted to tone back on the idea that Valerie grew up in a strict household as the idea was hard for me to accept with Arthur getting more character. I decided instead to change it so that rather than her father’s actions being the thing she dislikes, it’s the fame her father has that bothers her. It’s not like she hates this fame, but the fact her training is being seen under Arthur annoys her.

I took the liberty of rewriting parts of Louisa to allow her to tie well into her daughter Valerie. The idea is that Louisa is quite invested in battling, but worries that she can’t enjoy battling forever once her leek withers. This has led to her taking the opportunity to try and teach others some of the proper ways of battling.

With Amity being one of the characters who doesn’t require too much depth her stuff pretty much stays the same outside of a few things. Otherwise, she’s the same Greedent you love.

Not much was changed aside from giving Vida a bit of a relationship with Louisa, allowing Vida to become more prominent for the sword side of things.

Josephine ( Inteleon )

Lately, I found a lot of people really wanted to interact with Josephine in many unique ways. However, due to the overwhelming amount of interest, I realized Josephine might not be the easiest to present for interactions given how she is. As such, Josephine’s backstory and aspects have been rewritten to make her an Inteleon struggling to understand more about what she can do. As well as wanting to show she doesn’t have to be a strong pokemon to be a leader all the time. This backstory ties into one of the major criticisms I received where she had mostly water type moves while lacking important ones such as U-Turn or Acrobatics. I took this criticism as a new way to present Josephine since she might look and act cool, but deep down she’s not really the best. She can only really use Snipe Shot and has trouble with other moves.

I decided with Gabriella to have her story focus on competition in Cinderace fashion, but have this also tie into her relationship with her own sister. The two of them often being at odds with each other is a great way for Vanissa to push wanting to show she can be more without evolving.

I realized the mother and son dynamic that these two had makes it a little tricky for Emeline to interact with others on her own. However, someone gave me an idea that I felt was really useful to consider. What if instead of Archer being Emeline’s son, he was instead Emeline’s adopted son. This would give Emeline the dynamic of not really being a mother, but still trying to act like she is one. As a result, I rewrote Emeline from the ground up to include this idea. Also now she likes plushies

Character Ask Topic List

Now that all the current characters of the cast are posted and ready for any potential interactions, I felt that it might help those looking for asks to offer some of my characters. Each character has their own particular topics they focus on based on their personality, but can branch out if something about the character stands out to them. Whether or not there is interest I may still send asks on my own ( Once Tumblr may be kind and let me embed text with links ).

All I could really ask in return is to keep comments about “Where are their clothes” to a minimum. All characters were designed as adoptables when they were purchased so giving them clothing is out of my hands except in writing or extra art. Alternatives such as making them feral, giving them random clothes, etc. also work. In any case, I hope the questions I may send are helpful if this catches on. To help those at least a little curious in this, here are all the current character topics.

Ask Topic: Questions - Asks will be centered around the nuances of the world having been asleep for thousands of years, missing out on what exactly is new in the world.

Kritanta ( Eternatus ):

Ask Topic: Interaction - Being a legendary that has barely interacted with others through the years, they’re the friendly sort who can’t exactly speak. If you wish for a 13-14 foot tall skeletal dragon pokemon who might cause a character to Dynamax / Gigantamax they’re open.

Ask Topic: Music - Characters who have some attraction to music can often catch Anya’s interest, pushing her to know if she could rock out with a character like them or know what they do for a living.

Ask Topic: Friendly - Being such a friendly pokemon, Maria will introduce herself for more friendly conversations and saying hello to the character.

Ask Topic: Food / Dumb - While Portia may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, she may have some questions that are something to think on even if they may be dumb at times.

Ask Topic: Provocation - With Dominique always enjoying the chance to mess with other pokemon through teasing and provoking them, she will sometimes make comments that will usually get a reaction from the character

Hazel ( Morpeko )

Ask Topic: Food ( General ) - Hazel’s split personality that fluctuates based on hunger makes her interactions often about whether or not she’s hungry. She can be pretty friendly and ask simple questions, but if food is nowhere to be found she might ger aggressive about it.

Ask Topic: Child Care - For characters who have of their own, Emeline may be curious to know what sort of parent tips she should know about raising a kid.

Valencia ( Duraludon )

Ask Topic: Motivations- Valencia is often curious to know what the motivation a character may have towards their goals or interests. There is usually something that further pushes someone towards their goals.

All “Current” Characters Posted

Hurray, everyone is here and accounted for...well not quite, but that can be saved for a bit later. I may have intentionally forgotten a character or two as one of them may be getting removed and the other needs all the time possible to flesh them out. While I was posting each character onto the blog, I took the time to revamp each and every one fo their stories to better fit alongside each other and also allow for more depth.

Now that enough of the characters are posted to properly get things rolling, I’ll be sure to make a post soon enough for those looking to receive an ask from a particular character, Since each character will have their own themes when asking characters questions I want to ensure it’s conveyed which character could be one to look towards. I hope everyone at least looks forward to some of the future things I have in store. Particularly World Building and stories of character interaction and the like.

As a young Duraludon Valencia was always very curious about many things, often finding herself being fascinated by what others did. This would lead her to having a strong interest in treasure hunting when she was younger after all the movies she watched and her skills at digging into the ground. Though those dreams didn’t exactly catch on well when due to the dangers and the potential for heavy rainstorms. Instead, she mainly focused on studying pokemon battles and just handling school life as normal. She did train towards pokemon battles every once in a while, but she mainly saw it as a hobby while handling much bigger responsibilities such as her job at Macro Cosmos. When it seemed as if there wouldn't be much to do anymore, a single pokemon making the news caught Valencia’s attention. A Corviknight who looked serious in battling and showed a lot of dedication in the way he fought was awesome to see. While the spark for battling again was there, it wasn’t until she quit her job after a heated dispute that she finally decided to take the opportunity. She hopes to someday meet and train under a pokemon just as strong as the Corviknight she saw hoping one day it could lead her in a similar path to where he is.

One of Valencia’s personal mottos is precision can lead to aiming for higher marks, pushing her to plan and train to the fullest. )

Dreepy are often very weak pokemon in the eyes of many, being easily defeated by even the youngest of pokemon if given the chance. While on their own they’re weak, they can become stronger if trained by friends and family. Emeline herself was one such Dreepy who trained under her father and even took part in his battles when she was old enough. Dragapult could launch Dreepy through their horns at march speeds which the Dreepy usually enjoyed to the fullest. This training thanks to the help of her father helped Emeline for when she ever decided to consider battling as well, especially when she has Dreepy of her own. By the time she evolved into a Drakloak her father was proud to see the years caring for her daughter paying off with him wanting to see her enjoy life to the fullest. It was hard for her to leave home, but encouragement from her father and carrying her stuffed toy pushed her to do so. For a few months, Emeline wound up in a spot where she felt hesitant to battle or train for some time, even through her many attempts. She battled so much alongside her father that when it came time to battle on her own she was at a loss for what to do. It was only after one of her attempts to battle in the Wild Area led her to find a lone Dreepy who had wound up lost for some time. Emeline looked to help this little Dreepy find her parents, but through their searching and flyers nothing happened. Not wanting to see the Dreepy so sad, she took to giving him a proper place in her family. Having a Dreepy to take care of really helped Emeline feel a lot better being on her own, returning her interest in battling and would later push her to evolve into a Dragapult. She has made sure to speak to her father over the phone to seek help with her current predicament, but she feels a lot more is starting to turn upright for her. While she may just be a guardian to Archer, she wishes to take what her father had shown and share it with a Dreepy. Maybe Archer will even join her through the years as she battles her way through the gym battles.

While Emeline has been a Dragapult for at least a few years now, she still likes to at least practice using Dragon Darts and making sure her aim is true. One of the things Emeline often enjoys a lot are plushies, mostly as she feels comfort in something she can hug with. ) Dislikes: Pulled Tail, Cold Seasons, Feeling Alone ( Emeline’s tail often catches the eye of many pokemon for its partial invisibility and how long it is, often leading to it being grabbed by pokemon and sometimes pulled when trying to stop her from leaving. While Emeline is a ghost type pokemon, she is still very much susceptible to the effects of the colder seasons and ice type moves. Ever since Emeline left her father’s care she had often struggled with being on her own, something she tends to worry about while away from Archer or when spending time by herself. )

Having battled for many years alongside her father, Emeline likes to use her teachings and strength to protect others when she can. With newfound motivation after finding Archer, she is now dedicated to battling and help train Archer. )

Hazel is often a unique case of pokemon thanks to her species as a whole. Very friendly and adorable to be around, but being left without food can easily turn her into an aggressive and destructive monster. Morepeko, Hazel’s species, need to eat a lot of food daily to keep themselves from going hungry for long periods of time. So long as Hazel doesn’t waste too much of her energy moving around or using electricity, she can go for a decent while without food. However, should she go without food for too long, she will immediately become “Hangry” which is a short term used to describe Morepeko’s aggression while hungry. While Hangry, Hazel will lose a lot of control of herself and may often attack others who get in her way. She will revert once she is properly fed, but the only time this problem is slightly suppressed is when she’s asleep. To keep herself fed, Hazel makes sure to keep berries and seeds in her pouches to ensure she has something to snack on while on the move. Staying Hangry is something a lot of Morpeko should avoid unless they’re able to properly control themselves which is what Hazel is aiming to achieve someday. She seeks to practice controlling this anger of hers through Pokemon Battles where her aggression would be much better used. Hazel will certainly need a lot of training to pull this off properly, but she has faith in her friends to help her push on.

Name: Hazel Age: 26 Gender: Female Species: Morpeko Type: Electric / Dark Pokemon Abilities: Hunger Switch ( The Pokémon changes its form, alternating between its Full Belly Mode and Hangry Mode after the end of each turn. ) Pokemon Moves: Aura Wheel | Spark | Bite | Agility Pokemon Level: 42 Likes: Buffets, Desserts, Battle Training ( Having a lot of food close by makes it easy to keep Hazel’s hunger from creeping up on her, though stopping it outright is still difficult. Desserts are quite a favorite of Hazel’s thanks to her sweet tooth, though any food will really do for her. Aside from seeing it as exercise at times, Hazel wants to be able to better control her actions while Hangry as to not cause any problems for other pokemon. ) Dislikes: Sleep Eating, Being Hungry, Sharing Snacks ( One of Hazel’s bad habits is often eating while in her sleep which can be really dangerous if she’s close to a kitchen while she rests. While Hungry, Hazel will lose a lot of control of herself and become aggressive towards anyone who gets in her way until she is properly fed. Hazel won’t be stingy in sharing food so long as it isn’t the seeds she carries in her pouch as they’re important to her. )

If any pokemon tries to get in the way of her Hanger, they will likely be met with her power at full force. When Dominique was just a young Zigzagoon she grew up in a pretty large family of mostly Galarian Zigzagoons and a few Hoennian Zigzagoon as well. She was generally the rowdiest pokemon of them all with her brother often encouraging this behavior with taunts and dares. Her parents were, fortunately, able to stop her chances at actually trying to battle others early on, but the roughhousing was out of their control and would likely cause things to break every once in a while. When she was old enough to start learning how to battle, her parents would often have her try and partake in battle-related groups in the hopes she would avoid doing so at home. While this wasn’t an outright perfect solution, it did help reduce the amount of damage she could cause at home with having exhausted herself earlier. While Dominique continued to battle through the years, she began to evolve and gain much more energy towards her rough nature. It was only by the time she evolved into an Obstagoon when she stopped being so eager to roughhouse all the time and took a much bigger interest in real battling. Though nowadays Dominique often just spends her time alongside her brother and daughter, rocking out to music and usually doing Poke Jobs to get funds and food. She might not be the easiest pokemon to click with, but she can often be a fun one to have around if a little excitement is needed.

Name: Dominique Age: 36 Gender: Female Species: Obstagoon Type: Dark / Normal Pokemon Abilities: Guts ( Boosts Attack if there is a status problem. ) Pokemon Moves: Obstruct | Hone Claws | Cross Chop | Counter ( Hidden Move: Taunt ) Pokemon Level: 52 Likes: Pokemon Battles, Playing Rough, Loud Music ( Having battled for many years, Dominique always enjoys a chance to sharpen some of her old skills and likely learn some new ones in the process. While battles are her thing, she mostly enjoys playing rough with her siblings like her daughter or nephew to get them riled up for a battle or to tease them. Dominique has quite the love for music of the loud variety such as rock, often blasting it throughout her home or headphones ) Dislikes: Responsibilities, Long Jobs, Fighting-types ( Dominique isn’t exactly cut out for the parenting job with a troublemaker of a daughter to handle, but even more so is having to get up in the morning for a job almost every day. One of the reasons Dominique sticks with Poke Jobs is generally to avoid having to do one job more than necessary, especially with actual work. While it is true Dominique loves to battle, she often has a grudge against of fighting types due to the number she has seen who like to flex and show off their strength as if they’re the best. )

Even to this day Domonique loves being rough with her siblings, often ruffling their hair or trying to show her strength versus theirs. Often not wanting to be the first to make the first strike, Dominique generally likes to provoke others into a battle or actually battling her. )

Portia isn’t exactly the sharpest tool in the shed being a Cramorant, but she can be quite fun to be around. It’s usually easy to use her love for food to lure her into doing things she normally wouldn’t, but this more so used as a great training tool in order to teach her the importance of pokemon battles. She may forget a lot of things, including when she last ate, but she doesn’t forget the friends she has made which she will surely go to when around. One thing Portia shares a lot with other Cramorants is her eagerness to cram food in her mouth, which often leads her to accidentally swallowing things that she didn’t mean to. Many times a pokemon had to go up behind her and give her a good Heimlich maneuver just to help her spit out what she thought was food which can usually be stuffed toys or even weirder objects. This especially happens when pokemon try to take her food when she doesn’t notice, often leading to a close moment of meeting Portia’s open mouth. It’s very common for Portia to approach her friends while in the middle of trying to get something out of her mouth. She might be a handful to train and work with, but Portia is a very friendly and lovable Cramorant with a number of eating problems to work out.

Name: Portia Age: 27 Gender: Female Species: Cramorant Type: Flying / Water Pokemon Abilities: Gulp Missile ( Upon using Dive or Surf, the Pokémon appears with a catch in its mouth and spits it at the attacking Pokémon. ) Pokemon Moves: Peck | Drill Peck | Dive | Belch ( Hidden Move: Swallow ) Pokemon Level: 41 Likes: Swimming, Stuffing Herself, Pokemon Battles ( Being a water type herself, Portia is really good at swimming around and often diving underwater to find items or any food. With a large appetite and little concern of swallowing things whole, she often loves to eat as much as she can. Portia has a lot of potential during pokemon battles through her clumsy and weird habits, though when battling seriously she may even losing focus mid-fight. ) Dislikes: Accidental Eating, Losing Focus, Stolen Food ( As Portia will often eat what she can, there are times when she has accidentally eaten something that she shouldn’t while trying to spit it out. Portia doesn’t really have the best memory outside of remembering the need to eat, sometimes losing focus entirely when hunger calls. As Portia cares a lot for her food, she will be very protective of it and may accidentally hurt others through a peck or two if she wishes to have food left over. )

Portia’s love for food can often make her very gullible if food is held as a reward, usually pushing her to do so with the interest of it as a reward. )

Maria is an Indeedee who has always wished to help others through any means, often taking from her parent's idea of helping whenever necessary. This has led her to partake in babysitting related jobs when she was old enough, but didn’t last as long as she hoped when the worry of handling destructive and rowdy children was starting to pile on. Without being able to bring herself to calm these children down, and the parents often taking out their disapproval on her, she decided to leave the babysitting to those who are stronger than her. Maria has found a few parents who would love to help her continue babysitting their children, but she usually only does these when she’s given word in advance and time to prepare. One form of help she has stuck with through the years has mostly been through Poke Jobs, volunteer-based jobs that pokemon can sign up to help out for a set amount of time. These jobs have often been both a source of income for Maria as the hours put are rewarded accordingly, and has been a way for her to meet many of the pokemon she knows today. With each job taking part in a different company, it’s easy for her to come across a familiar pokemon more than once. These jobs have often even been used as a way to further increase her psychic capabilities which were lacking in the past had it not been for the Poke Jobs further pushing her. While Maria is still afraid of the idea of battling, she at least feels happy to help if she finds a team looking for a teammate that could use the help. At least as long as she isn’t busy usually.

Pokemon with lots of fluff are often Maria’s favorite, being the best pokemon to hug and snuggle with. One of the best ways for Maria to unwind after a long day is usually to play some of her more relaxing songs and rest her mind. ) Dislikes: Intense Battles, Destructive Pokemon, Others Crying ( Maria herself isn’t exactly a fighting sort of pokemon, preferring only mild sparring and not worrying about hurting others. As Maria is always worried about hurting others or being too mean, she tends to have trouble handling pokemon who are very destructive and will need more than talking to calm down. As a pokemon that cares for others, it can be very upsetting for Maria to see others crying without anyone to comfort them. )

Anya grew up as a young Toxel who often got rounded up in her father’s love for music. She always thought to imitate him through the loud singing or the attempts to strum an air guitar. This love for music did make it hard to be around her as keeping her quiet was almost impossible, but she couldn’t be blamed when her father encouraged it through video examples and often bringing her along to the concerts he visits. Once Anya was old enough to become a Toxtricity she was very eager to take her old love music in new ways. The form Toxel evolves into is based on the individual's personality, with much calmer Toxel often becoming Low-Key. Anya’s father was a Low-Key Toxtricity himself which is often seen by how little he tried to step in when his daughter caused a scene. Anya herself was an Amped Toxtricity who were pretty energetic and eager for battling, something her father made sure to make preparations for. Having her start battling now that she was old enough would prevent getting his house trashed when something happen, and hopefully get her to her new skills. Through the years she enjoyed the thrill of battle and often hoped for more when responsibilities were starting to loom over. When it came out from an old classmate of her’s that she was making a team for the Gym Challenge Anya was all over it and even invited herself to the group. Everyone in the group was pretty hesitant to allow this as she could barely keep her voice down, but they didn’t have an electric or poison type pokemon in the group. All that can really be hoped for is getting everyone in the group a pair of Hi-tech Earbuds before she hurts the group in more ways than one.

Name: Anya Age: 25 Gender: Female Species: Toxtricity ( Amped ) Type: Poison / Electric Pokemon Abilities: Punk Rock ( Boosts the power of sound-based moves. The Pokémon also takes half the damage from these kinds of moves. ) Pokemon Moves: Poison Jab | Venoshock | Discharge | Overdrive Pokemon Level: 45 Likes: Rock Music, Pokemon Battles, Gigantamax ( Quite a number of popular songs in Galar are rock-themed thanks to the artists who work on these songs, with Anya herself partially wanting to be part of this group herself. With a very short temper and a very loud voice, Anya likes to put them to good use while battling others. Even though Anya loses control of herself while in a Gigantamax state, she often finds the uses of it to be pretty cool when watching back the match. ) Dislikes: Boring Directions, Being Silenced, Slow Music ( It’s always annoying for Anya to deal with pokemon who can’t seem to enjoy her voice, especially when they go as far as to shut her up personally. One of the easiest ways for Anya to pretty much fall asleep is having to listen to classic or slow music for longer than she can handle. Anya is never really the type of pokemon who wants to be bored with lessons or stop what she’s doing to be told what to do. )

When battling Anya likes to make her presence known and loud before making her move, usually to make sure everyone is paying attention to her. While it is true most electric type pokemon are often very energetic thanks to the electricity through their body, Anya is naturally energetic thanks to her short-tempered and loud personality. )

Dara grew up as a Clobbopus very eager and fascinated by pokemon battles. She was always curious about how they worked and enjoyed putting that curiosity towards imitating what the fighters did on T.V. Her mother had to regularly keep Dara from hurting herself or others thanks to this, but did start to shape what Dara had learned so she wouldn’t cause anymore trouble. When Dara was old enough and finally learned Taunt, she evolved into a Grapploct that was more than happy to take her new skills towards actual battling. Though not many pokemon were really interested in training with her as her serious and competitive nature pushed her to go overboard. Even though she was happy to battle those that were skilled or gullible enough, she wanted a fight with intense opponents and more than just a handshake for the winner. With not much of a method to make this wish come true she mostly put her strength into Poke Jobs that relied on heavy lifting in order to earn a little on the side. One day she was approached by her recent friend about needing another team member for her journey through the Gym Challenge. Dara was more than excited at the opportunity and often pleaded to join, despite already being a candidate. She’s recognized in this group for being the only one able to cook curry properly and has been really helpful in testing the group’s strength...at least when she isn’t hurting everyone in the process. At least potions and revives are properly stocked.

Name: Dara Age: 25 Gender: Female Species: Grapploct Type: Fighting Pokemon Abilities: Limber ( Prevents paralysis ) Pokemon Moves: Octolock | Brick Break | Reversal | Detect ( Hidden Moves: Taunt ) Pokemon Level: 43 Likes: Pokemon Battles, Swimming, Heavy-lifting Jobs ( With Grapploct being pokemon with lots of strength and a body made of muscle, Dara is able to hold her own in most pokemon battles when physical strength is the focus. Whenever Dara isn’t trying to battle, she enjoys taking time to relax in the water and freely swim about. As Dara is a pokemon with multiple arms and the strength to use them well, she likes to take part in doing heavy jobs such as carrying items around. ) Dislikes: Dynamax, Holding Back, Ranged Pokemon ( As a lot of Dara’s strength comes from wrapping herself around the opponent and exhausting them, an opponent the size of a tall building would ruin this strategy of hers. Most pokemon often avoid Dara as she’s known to sometimes go overboard with her training, mostly not wanting to hold back when battling. After having forgotten how to use Octozooka, Dara has never been quite a fan of pokemon who rely on ranged attacks. )

This interest in showing her strength does lead to an interest in being competitive, wanting to go all out even in training. When Dara isn’t focused heavily on pokemon battles it’s easy to see her as a laid back and relaxed Grapploct. )
