It's been a long time coming but finally i can say that i've finished all 6 mainline ace attorney games, that just leaves the two investigations games and i'll have officially played every single ace attorney (no i'm not counting the layton crossover) until they FINALLY do ace attorney 7. So i might as well just cut to the chase, i honestly really REALLY like spirit of justice, this game goes hard as fuck and i will not hear otherwise, unless you're talking about case 4 which is just aggressively ok, the first half of case 5, which is really let down by its trial, and the DLC case which was mid as fuck but aside from that this game's highlights were really REALLY good, in fact i think the last half of case 5 (I honestly like to split case 5 into case 5-1 and case 5-2 due to how absurdly long the case is and the fact that they could of easily just made them two separate cases but i digress) is one of the best cases in the ace attorney series and the big twist of the case genuinely caught me off guard and i fucking LOVED it.
So, anyways now that i've reached the last checkpoint before the final goal in my ace attorney journey i think i can finally give this game a rating of... Recommend - I think this game's mysteries are absolutely fantastic and for the most part really fun to unravel, honestly my one reservation with this game is the fact that there's a lot of required reading to go through before you can actually play this game, as odds are you'll wanna play at the bare minimum ace attorneys 1-5 first

The best way i can describe Tyrion Cuthbert Attorney Of The Arcane is ace attorney if you set it in a fairly conventional D&D world with magic and all that and honestly it goes hard as hell i really like this game. The concept is really cool and i think the use of magic and such for the various murders (lets be real here it's a love letter to the ace attorney series it's gonna have murders) is honestly super clever at points. The story is also pretty nice honestly, although it absolutely cranks it up to 11 starting from case 5 i still think it's really cool regardless. I'm really fond of the main cast this game brings to the table, and even beyond that there's a lot of likable/memorable characters here. Oh actually one thing i wanted to bring up is the fact that game lacks a penalty system aside from during arguments, and even if you lose i'm pretty sure it ultimately doesn't really matter much (except for like one example late in the game) and i gotta admit it did feel kinda weird, although i wouldn't necessarily say it's a super bad thing just a decision the devs made while making it that confuses me a little bit. Anyways, after reviewing the evidence the only verdict i can come to for tyrion is... Recommend - Ultimately i think the big deciding factor on if you should play tyrion is if you love ace attorney since the game is ultimately very similar to ace attorney just with a cool D&D fantasy twist to it

So i think i may be the first person in like the last 3000 years to actually not only play mario party E but also play it with the e reader and all that and i have to say it's simple but honestly a pretty decent little game. You can probably get a few good games out of it with friends just for the sheer novelty of it.
My thoughts on it are that i...
Recommend - If you for some insane reason can actually scrounge up everything to play this i'd say it's honestly worth giving a try at least once as it is a fun novelty. Try playing with moare than 2 players as it'll probably be more fun that way

Final fantasy 4 is game i've had a long and storied history with, and i've finally done my 7 year old self justice and finally beat the final boss, and more importantly played through the whole game! I honestly had a blast from start to finish and i'm kicking myself for not picking up and trying to play more final fantasy games eons ago back when i had that special interest in their lore in middle school but yeah better late than never i suppose. I'd give this game a rating of... Recommend - This was the first game to introduce the ATB system for handling turns and i think it's probably worth experiencing for that alone, the plot, while simple is honestly a really cool story of sacrifice and redemption and very fun to go through, the characters are pretty great too. Although if you do give this game a try (which again i do actively recommend you do) just be warned rare drops in this game are genuinely awful to farm for as all the chance of a drop occurring at all is 1/20 and then the very rare drops (which btw 5 very rare drops are tied to achievements, i grinded them out, and yes i am insane) are a 1/64 chance of happening, so you can end up grinding for hours on end for the drops with no luck. But yeah at the end of the day just give the game a playthrough you won't regret it

In the spirit of halloween i've returned from the dead with the first new post for my media thread in a good long while, and it's a fitting game for the season too. FAITH The Unholy Trinity is probably one of the single most brilliant horror games i've ever seen. Pretty much everything about this game is masterfully crafted, from the absolutely bone chilling sound design to the incredible usage of rotoscoping to make exceedingly unnerving cutscenes. And probably one of the most notable aspects of it, the fact that it uses fucking ancient obsolete voice synthesizers for all of its voicing, which makes dialogue just that much more unsettling. The fact that this game is as genuinely unnerving as it is with its graphics and all that is a true feat that i find exceedingly impressive. Areas like the apartment complex in chapter 3 especially are downright terrifying and i'd be lying if i said i wasn't shaken too my core the whole time going through there. FAITH's story is honestly really good as well, it's intriguing and it pulls you right in and it's well worth it to make your way through it, and more importantly it's well worth it for you to go out of your way to get the best endings, even if doing that makes chapter 3 a lot harder. So, i suppose i might as well bring back the old rating system as i actually feel really compelled to give one here, and my rating for FAITH is... PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK - Horror games really are not for everyone, i'm pretty sure FAITH's religious themes could also really be a sticking point for some people but like if you think you can handle it please PLEASE play this game, i promise you if you're looking for a good horror game to play that's not too particularly long pick up FAITH, you will not be dissapointed. And of course don't forget, Gary loves you.

Vanillaware hits an absolute home run with unicorn overlord. It's a fantastic SRPG that is some of the most fun i've ever had with a game in this genre and that's praise that i can't just throw around lightly since i've played a fair amount of SRPGs. Considering my favorite game ever is probably 13 sentinels (P3R is competing for that spot as of now but still) and this was made by the same devs i think i need to go out of my way to play all of the other vanilaware games since they seem to be borderline incapable of making non peak games If you're a fan of SRPGs i beseech you please please PLEASE play this game, it even has a demo that you can try for free if you're on the fence.

I think this game has one of the most profound narratives about death i've ever seen period, and it's beautiful. Like seriously after beating the game i was full blown crying and it was fucking awesome like i genuinely almost never cry at things and like P3R not only got me to do it once, it got me to do it twice which is like unheard of as far as i'm concerned. I think P3R is going to be a game that's going to stick in my memory for as long as i live. I don't need to put this in my rubric grading-wise, i'll just say please if you ever play any one persona game please play this one, i promise you it'll be worth it. Just try and do P3R specifically since it doesn't have the shitty transphobic joke during the beach thing, that and overall i think the gameplay is way nicer in P3R but that one may just be me

Katana zero is an absolutely incredible game, like genuinely it's an incredible deal for 15 bucks the game is short but filled with a ton of high quality fast paced gameplay probably my biggest takeaway from the game was the story, which is really cool and i need the game's DLC NOW. The OST absolutely slaps as well btw I don't care about the whole rating thing at this point just play this it's insanely good

So, dark deity is a really interesting experience and i mean that in a good way. It's pretty janky at times but overall really fun, if you like fire emblem and the game is on sale (i got it for like 5 bucks in a bundle of 5 games) then i'd honestly say you could spend 5 bucks a multitude of worse ways. Btw fenton is my favorite i think Anyways uh my thoughts on dark deity is... Recommend - If you're a fire emblem fan and the game's on sale as i said earlier you genuinely should pick this game up, assuming it doesn't accidentally break on you you'll probably have a lot of fun with it, oh also PLAY WITH THE MUSIC OFF, the music is terrible when i played it on my twitch with jessie i had the game's music muted and just played a playlist of random fire emblem songs and it made it much more enjoyable

Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe is an absolutely incredible remake of what's already my favorite kirby game, it honestly surpasses it in like every way possible which is pretty impressive, the new copy abilites are pretty cool, sand is broken and mecha is honestly not super good but at least it gives you increased air mobility. The merry magoland stuff is also really cool since a minigame collection for kirby has honestly been super over due to all the great minigames in the series So anyways my thoughts on this game are...
Reccomend - You really just can't go wrong with this game honestly, it's a nice relaxing fun time and easily worth playing through

Lets get TWISTED with my latest and maybe or maybe not greatest media thread entry twisted the gameshow for the 3do, so twisted is a party board game thing where your goal is to guide your wacky character up a 100 tile spiral and win the gameshow and on the way play minigames and try to avoid the wheel of torture and the dreaded bozo square. The minigames in the game are almost all super easy except this weird face matching one and the trivia since it's 1990's trivia which for stuff like pop culture makes it really hard.
Oh also one final thing my discord about me is a thing from the credits of this game and i just think that's funny
Anyways my final rating is...
Maybe - I mean this game was a ton of fun just the only issue is actually finding a way to play it, i have no idea how 3do emulation works and actually getting one like david and i have is way easier said than done, much less getting a working 3do so uh if you can play this game try it it's a fun surreal experience

Well i just beat birthright and i gotta say i honestly had a ton of fun with it, like it's way easier than conquest was yeah but i feel like aside from it just being straight up an easier game i also had a much MUCH better understanding of how the game worked so i wasn't bumbling around fucking everything up this time. The game is really sandboxy for a fire emblem game and it really did feel like i could do almost anything i wanted to do with a unit in it really like i did a ton of reclassing this run and it was a blast (make azama a dread fighter it's the funniest shit i've ever seen). Oh also the story is still fucking awful just like conquest's but imo who gives a fuck when the gameplay is as fun as it is plus as with conquest it's way better if you don't take the plot anywhere near seriously and just laugh at it. After beating birthright i think i can officially say that i think i'm a fates fan, albeit i still have to play revelations (which i'll be doing shortly probably) but as of the first two games i can confidently say i'm an unironic fan of them which the me of a few years ago would probably say i'm fucking insane since i was blinded by the negative stigma fates has but honestly i'm really glad i decided to just kinda play conquest on lunatic blind out of boredom all those ages ago (Probably around a year or twoish ago idk) cause if i didn't i would have missed out on a genuinely really fun fire emblem experience So my final rating for fe birthright is... Maybe - Tbh the only thing that'd really make this a maybe for me is that it's an SRPG and SRPGs really just don't vibe with some people in the slightest, but like if you're a fire emblem fan who's just looking for some fun sandboxy gameplay trying out birthright ain't half bad of an idea
