That's why I asked, settle down.

I could probably figure out some sort of wireless charger for you, so you don't have to worry about the battery, um, issue. Completely non-invasive, just a charging pad you'd sit on. If that's something you want me to look into later.

For the problem at hand, though, unless you have any more leads, I'm out of ideas.

Huh. Well that seems... absolutely horrifying to think about.

But anyways. I... could probably figure out how to make a battery with connectivity functions, so you'd have that capability again. But I also realize that's probably more tinkering than you'd probably like. And even if you were okay with it in theory, you'd still have to be off while the battery was switched out, even if only for a split second. I don't know if that's anything you're willing to risk. Your call.

So much for the "turn it off and on again" method of troubleshooting. And I'm guessing that if you do have a function to restore a previous version, it would also get rid of things you don't want to get rid of.

I think I'm at a loss. Which I guess isn't a surprise, considering I don't know how you work, but I'd been hoping.

...unless...

What is it that powers you? Is it a battery, or do you need to recharge in some way, or... ?
