Things that can trigger visual epilepsy and need to be tagged with #flashing or #seizure warning for some folks even if it isn’t the textbook definition of ‘flashing’ - based on things that have triggered or nearly triggered mine

- Rapid changing colors, even if it’s fade in and not actual flashing

- Gifs of something rapidly moving to and from the camera (camera punching gifs, zoom ins and zoom outs)

- Quick white flashes on a relatively normal gif/video

- Lightning effects

- Small flashing images in the corner of the screen (even if it’s not the whole screen)

- Gifs/Videos of rapid scrolling through imagery, or dashboards

- A ray of light passing by the camera quickly multiple times. (Ex. A flashlight ray, a laser pointer)

        so for a while now i’ve been working towards better understanding myself and all that entails ( jk, i’ve barely come to terms with my name/pronouns let alone anything remotely deeper ), and i figured it was time to switch over here too! for the longest time going by daisy had felt right - it’s one of my middle names and i had planned to legally switch over to it - but around february, after struggling a lot with she/her pronouns at all and my name sounding just… wrong, i decided to try switching it up and seeing if it helped. as i’m sure you can imagine - it did. the last few months i’ve been pretty exclusively using they/them and going by bells/bellamy and i’ve gotta say it’s… been an amazing change. it feels more natural for me, more right.         all that said -
