The last five minutes of Season 3 are just so jam-packed with bangers:

The moment your stomach plunges through the floor:
SHAW: Just tell me where to put this bomb--
ROOT: This facility is 1 of 100 just like it all over the world. It would take years to destroy them all, and Decima would only rebuild them.
SHAW: Well, then your magic boxes better shut this thing down.
ROOT: Shaw, this was never about turning it off!

The moment you laugh despite yourself because this show is fundamentally about male friendship and dear God these two are a piece of work:
REESE: First time's the worst, huh?
FINCH: Why would you ever choose a career where this was an occupational hazard?
REESE: Well, I tried to quit, but some jackass told me I needed a purpose.

The moment you realize it's real, the show isn't hiding a dramatic Uno Reverse up its sleeve, the bad guys really won:
LAMBERT: Receiving the government feeds now, sir.
GREER: Then by all means, let there be life.
LAMBERT: Higher functions online, sir. Searching for targets now.
GREER: Good. Eliminate them all.

The moment that hits home, because suddenly you know you're never going to see the Library ever again:
ROOT: Get out of the library, now.
FINCH: Miss Groves?
ROOT: Card catalog by the window, top drawer on the right. Hurry.
FINCH: What's going on?
ROOT: Your new identities are inside. Destroy everything else.

The moment they let Root monologue, the purpose for which God Himself hand-crafted Amy Acker:
This was never about winning.
It's just about surviving.
When the whole world is watched, filed, indexed, numbered, the only way to disappear is to appear, hiding our true identities inside a seemingly ordinary life.

You're not a free man anymore, Harold. You're just a number. We have to become these people now, and if we don't, they'll find us, and they'll kill us.
I'm sorry, Harold. I know it's not enough. A lot of people are going to die. People who might have been able to help.
Everything is changing. I don't know if it will ever get better... but it's going to get worse.

The moment you realize you have no idea how the show is going to continue from this point -- just that nothing will be the same, and may never be again:
But the Machine asked me to tell you something before we part. You once told John the whole point of Pandora's Box is that once you've opened it, you can't close it again.
She wanted me to remind you of how the story ends. When everything is over, and the worst has happened, there's still one thing left in Pandora's Box...
Hope.

And the moment you realize Greer isn't a mustache-twirling Republic serial villain; he really is a true believer:
SAMARITAN: What. are. your. commands. ?.
GREER: I assure you, it's quite the other way around. The question is, what, my dear Samaritan, are your commands... for us?

Any one of these moments could have carried an episode. And they just dropped them all in four minutes.
And I still skipped stuff!
#person of interest#poi#poiedit#samaritan's gui remains on fleek#oh and exit music (for a film) is playing the whole time that seems important too#pack and get dressed before your father hears us before all hell breaks loose

One of the cutest and most underrated aspects of TNG is the fact that in any given scene Data is copying his friends’ posture and mannerisms

You're gonna have to step over my dead body Before you walk out that door

You charmed me with your magic Landed looking tragic "Forever" is the feather you ain't got no more

And all the people you see coming by to save you You're make-believing-on in your mind

Your eyes are holy rollin', looking, beating, knocking The ceiling gets closer to you all the time

This ain't no wow now They all been put down

Who ain't dead yet, fled to die closer to the shore

This ain't no wow no more

This ain't no wow no more This ain't no wow no moooooore

'I asked chatGPT to-'
yeah ? well I asked The Machine, and it spies on you every hour of every day. I know because I built it. I designed the machine to detect acts of terror, but it sees everything. Violent crimes involving ordinary people, people like you. Crimes the government considered irrelevant. They wouldn’t act, so I decided I would. But I needed a partner, someone with the skills to intervene. Hunted by the authorities, we work in secret. You’ll never find us, but victim or perpetrator, if your number’s up, we’ll find you.

If you can hear this, you're alone.
The only thing left of us is the sound of my voice.

I don't know if any of us made it. Did we win? Did we lose?
I'm not even sure I know what victory would mean anymore.
But, either way? It's over. So let me tell you who we were. Let me tell you who you are.
And. How. We. Fought. Back.

"It would only beta read and leave comments"
SecUnit would install itself as a moderator of the Sanctuary Moon fandom wiki page. SecUnit would, for the simple transgression of being annoying - delete your account, IP ban, find your personal email address and send you a citation-laden 5 page explanation about how you're wrong titled "Banned for life (idiot)"
