If I make a character that is a medic to all three factions (sort of doctors without borders kind of organization) what will it be classified as?

Technically that’d be an outsider! If they’re not a medic strictly to one faction, then they don’t fully belong in any. For example: The Alliance sees anyone not strictly affiliated with them as illegal/unlawful. Aka, not part of the Alliance = outsider or rebel. If you choose to treat those that the Alliance sees as unlawful, then you yourself will be seen as unlawful.

If I were to start submitting my character designs, would it be a good idea to make a master post of all of them? Or break up my designs into separate posts?

There’s no problem with making crews at all, it’s pretty much up in the air for whether people want to group up into crews or not!

A member of the Asterian race. Asterians are grown to serve as servants aboard other species spaceships, and thus are very docile and frail. They are easily found because of their bright colors and bio luminescence. Before they were cultivated to become servants, they were able to camouflage into their surroundings and hide from predators. They are naturally hermaphrodites, though because they are bred, they are artificially infertile, caused by a device that signifies their master’s ownership. This device also suppresses their camouflage ability.  Most Asterians are too timid to do anything other than they are told. Norii’ki is a more bold Asterian, having the courage to run away from their master.

[ Weapons Engineer for the Hayloft, Rebel Ship ] [ ~30-some years old ] [ 7′5″ ] [ Species: Lecsai ]

     Most of the Lecsai that hail from the planet Lodarak are a peaceful, though large, people - so why is this one in the middle of what is essentially a galactic war with a bunch of rebels? Hard to say.      He’s a bruiser, but he’s also a sweetheart to his crew - and he’s here to help give the Alien Alliance a big ole’ headache.

Yeah can I get a fuckin uhhhhhhh…………….. venomous space crocodile?

Part of the Alien Alliance, this piscivorous space croc is part of the Yaa'si, a water dwelling race that harnesses their evolved toxins to take on the big fish of the pond. Their manes sense movements in the water, and despite having six eyes, they have relatively poor eyesight, requiring most that go on land to wear special glasses. To walk on land without swimming, they manufactured special water collars around their gills that filter through the water.

Well, this little runt croc’s name is Vii'te and will probably bite your ankles lmao

Kaahs of the Nulomca species, now with some minor updates compared to the last round of the Space AU event! (Previous design)

Kaahs is a freelance mercenary looking for work during these trying times. They have no alliance with any factions and will take on any job if it means they’re able to live a comfortable life. Kaahs wears a mask of having a respectable, honorable personality but in reality has virtually no moral compass and will lie to get what they want. When not doing freelance work, Kaahs is a craftsman who sells their traditional wares at the alien equivalent of Etsy. On their planet they are 46 years-old but by Earth calculations they are much closer to being 260.

Some brief info on the Nulomca:

an intersex species with no gender; slowly dwindling population due to infertility problems and longevity - an endangered species  

highly nocturnal and carnivorous 

possess retractable forearm and ankle blades

hair is prehensile and strong enough to support their body weight and then some; helps aid in navigating the thick forests of their home planet

predatory/hunter species by nature - well-known for their stealth

the Nulomca are still relatively self-sufficient without technology but some clans have integrated with the population at large

Dion is a massive flirt with a penchant for espionage, fiercely loyal to people he cares about, but can get carried away at times. He’ll do just about anything for the appropriate price, and has a marked soft spot for AIs and other machines.
