Honestly I think it’ll be good for Vanessa to see how fucked up Doofs childhood and teen hood was before he came to America, it’ll be another side of him that she sees. I’m only on Season 1 and rewatching the series so forgive me if I’m wrong on this lol

So out of the 4 upcoming episode summaries we got, The Bad Old Days is one that sounds the most interesting to me, just cause it sounds like it could potentially be an emotional episode.

"Vanessa and Doof travel to Drusselstein while the boys dig for Mom’s lost wedding ring."

The title is based on the phrase on the good old days, you know, when your grandparents are nostalgic for stuff they lived through that someone who lives in the modern day would go 'you're nostalgic for that???!!'

So my speculation is that Heinz is taking Vanessa to Drusselstein with him in an attempt to connect her with his old culture. Vanessa, with her modern American teen background, finds traditional Drusselstein to be off-putting.

In This is Your Backstory, Heinz came to America when his parents tricked him into boarding a boat (you know, back when he thought he'd land in a magical place where misfits fit in).

And he did have that plan in Curse of Candace where he turned parts of Danville into a more traditional rural village. He's admitted that his home country hates the idea of change (and in Doonkleberry Imperative, the country is still powered by a giant shaft turned by goats instead of electricity). In the episode One Good Turn, Heinz didn't know they updated the Dance of Contrition to just be a fun dance number with remix electronic music instead of something utterly degrading and humiliating (but hilarious if you weren't the guy performing it.)

Heinz has always felt some connection with his home country that the other two main members of his family, Roger and Vanessa, don't have. Roger was raised in Drusselstein like Heinz, but has fully integrated with American politics and it would never be anyone's first guess that he came from a poor Eastern European country if they talked to him.

So basically, I love Heinz and Vanessa episodes and I'm really looking forward to this one.

Ik the healing can be a bit op but considering the cooldown, if the killer didn’t SUCK they would still be able to kill the healed survivor in no time. Sure, the survivor gets like. 2 free hits with one heal. But a killer should be able to deal more than 2 hits in 50 seconds. Plus, that’s the entire point of his character !!! WHATS THE POINT OF THIS NERF? Imagine this nerf against like. John Doe. Elliot heals a survivor and they accidentally walk into the trail. Then what? His heal is useless? I guess that’s not really that common but I’ve seen guests charge right into John Doe’s trail during chases. If I heal some poor noob Guest player and they immediately get their heal cancelled I may just start breaking down crying. And I’m not sure how damage over time works but I can only hope I can heal during it or playing against coolkidd will be a nightmare (bc trust me, I will forget)

And I can kind of get the logic of rush hour; Elliot would get tired after a rush hour at work. But… he really didn’t need that nerf at all. It wasn’t that OP. I can’t count the times I used it and found the killer right behind me after it ended. If the killer had good stamina management or even good mind-game, they’d probably be able to catch up anyways. I know it’s inconvenient during lms bc I’ve seen it myself (it’s like a free cola during chase), but the killer could be back on Elliot’s trail in no time. 10 seconds flat. Plus, I usually use rush hour as a last resort. To guarantee I dodge 1x4’s mass infection or John Doe’s spikes during chase when I’m low on stam. But now, what happens after? I’m low on stam, still close to the killer, and now I’m slow? That limits the ways I can use his ability so much. I didn’t only use it to run across the map. It’s as if his survivability wasn’t already one of the lowest in the game !!!!!

Anyways I know they adjusted some of the nerfs by the time I post this, but still. It’s kind of unfair. I don’t even really main Elliot anymore so I only play him when there were no other Elliots in the server (bc lord knows everyone’s dying without an Elliot), but I can already see how Elliot-deprived every server I’ll be in after this patch will be :,)

Overall point? I have none and this rant was mostly for entertainment. Uh. Bring Elliot back to life bc he was absolutely murdered. THANKS
