Hi! I'm Chewie, and well, I love to chew! Give me an empty water bottle and I'll be set for hours! I'm an 8 year old female, Congo African Grey and I'm currently helping out at the Beak N Wings facility. I can say my name as well as a few other things and I definitely prefer women over men. I will step up to a perch and a hand and if you take the time to get to know me, I'll let you scratch my head! I'm a really sweet girl but I do over groom my chest. Once I get settled into a new home I may stop, but I'm still pretty darn cute even if I don't! Oh, and I'm also a pretty good dancer! Want to meet me? Sadly, I have cataracts, so my vision is limited, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying brightly colored things, like my toys, or bells, especially bells! I really like bells. I came to Beak N Wings when my elderly owner became too ill to care for me. I'm searching for my forever home, and would do great with someone who could be gentle with me. Hi, I'm Aspen! I am a 20 year old female Umbrella Cockatoo. I was raised from the time I was a chick with a woman who loved me very much, but as her human family grew it became harder and harder for her to spend time with me. She surrendered me to Beak n Wings because she felt it would be best for me. While I wasn't getting my share of the attention, I started to pluck my chest feathers. I wasn't able to stop myself, and these feathers don't grow back, but I'm still pretty stink'n cute, if I do say so myself! I was adopted by another family who kept me for several years, but human lives change suddenly, and I was returned to Beak n Wings when they could no longer care for me. In spite of my ups and downs, I remain a trusting and loving bird. My friends at Beak n Wings call me a feathered kitten, whatever that means. I am very fond of my foster mom now. My only bad habit is continuing to over groom my feathers, even though I am a happy bird. I am not generally noisy, but I don't like being around other female Umbrella Cockatoos and I will get loud when I am. I don't really care one way or the other about any other types of birds. I enjoy eating healthy ZuPReem pellets, fruit, veggies and the occasional nut or other treat. Want to meet me?
