Thought Fiddlestan was a purely comedic ship for a while but now I get it, I see the light. It’s about a man who nurtures and cares for others to the point of heartbreak meeting a man who doesn’t remember what it’s like for anyone to care about him. It’s about them being warm together around the absence of someone they both love. It’s about Fiddleford’s innate domesticity comforting a man whose deepest desire was to come home. It’s about falling in love with the same face again but in a new context that heals your past trauma. It’s about Stan’s unbridled affection finally validating someone who desperately needed the recognition. It’s also about very funny old man yaoi.

Curses are being given away like there's no tomorrow- at least that's what Ford thinks to himself as he gets turned into a hound and Fiddleford into (animal of choosing).

The rest of the town seems to be getting cursed too, some turning into creatures and others to animals like them...

Sailors fid’s were and are used for splicing, reeving and untangling the manila and hemp line used for the rigging of ships, for making grommets which are the equivalent to buttonholes in sails, canopies and tarpaulins and for any other task for which an oversize bodkin is useful in making rope and canvas. Steel marlinspikes performed the same functions, but could also be used with wire rigging.

i have a random headcanon that bill messed up the way ford feels temperature so that’s why he wears a TURTLENECK and a TRENCH-COAT in the middle of summer

(yes ik the turtleneck’s to cover up his tattoo shhhh)

i like to think Ford has always been like this. Maybe Bill did something but as a kid he'd still run around with his little coat on. He just never gets hot. And he LOVES curling up in blankets and pillows. He'll practically make a nest. Meanwhile Stan is laying starfish style in the bare minimum of clothing and the blankets tossed to the floor (or to Ford)

Also a random headcanon that Bill DEFINITELY had something to do with, or Ford suffered some kind of radiation in the multiverse, but whenever he gets a fever it's like. deathly high. It'll be like 140°F and Stan measured it with three different thermometers and has no idea what to do

Ford then rests and recovers perfectly fine
