Any headcanons or stuff you wanna say about Annie? She’s my absolute favorite character in the Neighbors AU ^^

Aww my Annie! I’m so happy you love her. I love her too. ❤️

Here are some Annie facts:

She’s naturally talented at art and piano. She ends up starting piano lessons at the age of 5 and does incredibly well, continuing to play into adulthood.

Her favorite color is green.

Her favorite animal/creature is a dragon.

Her favorite food is tacos.

Her middle name is Rose and her birthday is May 6, 2020.

She loves bedtime stories. They help her sleep. She also needs a nightlight. She’s afraid of complete darkness.

She’s an amazing older sister to her eventual siblings.

She is the flower girl at Ragatha and Jax’s wedding and the eventual wedding of her Uncle Denny and Auntie Loo.

Pomni is her godmother and Denny is her godfather.

Jax asks Abel to do a background check on all of Annie’s teachers each fall when she starts a new school year. (He also does this when she gets older and starts to date 🤭) Jax becomes the dad who will stare you down if you so much as glance in his daughter’s direction.

She wants to be a nurse like her mother when she grows up.

She calls Jax’s parents Grammy and Papa. (Kinger and Queenie are Gramma and Grampy, even if they don’t remember 😔)

When she’s an older teenager (around 16), she starts to get curious about her birth father. Not in the sense that she wants to meet him (because she one hundred percent considers Jax her father), but curious about who he was. Ragatha has never mentioned him to her and refuses to talk about him, so Annie asks Jax what he knows. Jax, not waiting to go against Ragatha’s wishes, refuses to provide any information at first, but that only makes Annie more curious. He approaches Ragatha and tells her that if they don’t answer her questions now, Annie may seek out the information herself and try to find her birth dad on her own. This scares Ragatha, to the point where she allows Jax to give Annie very limited information. Jax tells Annie that her birth father was a bad person, and she never had a relationship with him, even as a newborn, by his own choosing. He tells her that to keep her safe, Ragatha left him and never went back. Jax leaves out the part about how Ricky abused Ragatha, feeling as though Annie is still too young to know that.

She does soccer when she’s about six years old and Jax volunteers to coach the team because he doesn’t trust anyone else. 😂 Ragatha has to remind him to be fair to the entire team and show no favoritism.

One time Annie gets a pet fish that dies while she’s at school. Jax panics and spends the entire day going from store to store looking for an exact copy of the same goldfish (gold with a black spot) so she doesn’t find out or know the difference. It takes him allll day but he gets it done.

Any sweet and fluffy headcanons of Ragatha and Jax as parents to Annie in the Neighbors AU?

I’ve got a few 🩵

Annie loves to climb into bed between Jax and Ragatha when she gets scared at night. Before Jax moved in, Annie only had Ragatha to turn to for comfort. Now with Jax, she’ll often gravitate toward him in her sleep, latching onto his arm with her little hands. The first time she did this and Jax woke up with her cuddled next to him, he didn’t know what to think, simply because he was both so shocked and touched that she trusted him that much.

Whenever there is a family event at Annie’s school, Ragatha insists Jax come along too (before they’re married). Annie is so proud to show Jax off to her classmates.

They have “movie night” every Friday where they all pile onto the couch and watch a movie of Annie’s choosing.

Jax has a tendency of giving in to Annie no matter what. Ragatha has to teach him how to discipline her, even though he doesn’t like doing it. The first time she cried after he had to scold her, he felt awful. He went out and bought her a stuffed dragon to make up for it (to Ragatha’s exasperation).

As an extension of a cute family headcanon, Jax’s parents love and spoil Annie. Even Jax has to tell his dad, “This is too much…” (toys, sweets, clothes) to which Jax’s dad replies, “Nonsense, Jax. Nothing is too much for our girl.” ❤️

Jax eventually gets a tattoo of the date he officially adopted Annie on his upper right arm (to match the one over Ragatha’s heart).

«Reifschneider» is a German surname that was carried by a former figure skater representing West Germany. (Jax is not related to him in any way!!! the only similarity is the surname)

Shutnikova «Шутникóва» from the word "шутник/шут" (Jester) in Russian.

Gangle Sakamoto

"Kaori Sakamoto" is a figure skater from Japan. Here, I was just inspired to give her a last name like that, but Gangle herself has nothing to do with this figure skater

I'm better at Russian surnames than American or Japanese ones. I also had to dig around on the internet when it came to what a "middle name" is, because it's called something else and works differently in my country

If I may share a Neighbors au headcanon of mine: when Ragatha is stressed or tired after work, I like to imagine that she buries her face in Jax's chest fur. Like she'll just approach him in their room, unbutton his shirt, and just rest her head in his fur without saying a word. Is this something she would do?

Awww, this is absolutely something she would do! 🥰 Her job is stressful, and Jax knows this. He’s more than willing to give her all the cuddles she wants. 🩵
