Iโm so glad I can finally share this mount with you all!
The tree, barbed wire, and rocks were all sourced on the lease the deer was taken on, making for a one-of-a-kind mount thatโs sure to bring back memories.

New dead stuff woot woot
Got all 3 things I was looking for at the expo: Roe deer skull, otter skull, and a different deer mount (sika deer) to replace my kinda ugly mule deer mount.

The mole is all cleaned up and packed away now! Moles have some interesting skeletal features, check out their funky humeri and scapulae!

A taxidermy display found in my school, i enjoy seeing a representation of these creatures together in an enviroment. Makes you aware of how many different animals are all around in forests

juvenile American goldfinch, Spinus trisitis
cause of death was a window strike. juvenile differentiated from adult female by buffy wing bands instead of pale + low skull ossification

The great auk also had its own diorama, and they also had another mount and a skull on display!

I found this MBTA infographic I made for an environmental biology class ages ago, so I figured I may as well share it, before I forgot about it again.
Even unknowing violations can net you up to a $15,000 fine. Put the damn bird bits back.

Shoutout to bird dioramas with chicks, big fan of seeing the elegant adult birds right next to their scruffy yelling babies
