I have a cousin who all he tries to do when texting with my friends and I, we’re all in a big group text, is try and impress us with how much he can drink, which girls he’s slept with, his “rowdy” times while at school. Every time he says something I shoot this picture right back to him because 99.9% of the time he’s full of shit and I’m going to call him out on it.

This hit the nail on the head. I constantly have friends who want to hangout but a lot of the time I make up an excuse, usually saying I have to work, to get out of not having to go out. Part of it is not wanting to drive the hour to Joplin to hang out but the other part is I would just rather sit at home and do nothing. Once I do go out though I always end up having fun and want to do it the next night, week, etc. I think it I had more friends here in my current town that I would be willing to go out more, instead all my friends are between and hour to 3 hrs away.

Work is dumb

It's always a great day at work when you find out you don't get to go to Baton Rouge for the Arkansas/LSU football game because one of your employees can't cover your shift. There goes $500 down the drain...I never get to take time off to go do stuff with family/friends.

A long overdue update.

I just redownloaded the tumblr app and realized that it has been a really, really long time since I have posted anything in a long time. So here's an update in the life of not bearded anymore Edward. A lot has changed and a lot hasn't. After 2.5 yrs I'm still working security for the same company, though I'm always looking for a new job. I need to change things up. I've been promoted to site supervisor which means weekends off, or it did when I had a full crew. Now I have to work 84 hrs a week (7a-7p everyday.) the money will be great, just won't be able to go out and enjoy it. I keep wanting to move to Springfield, MO. I think I'd really like it there and my friends are there. Here's to hoping it pans out in the near future...
