Stoked to get our hands on some copies of the long-awaited vinyl press of Antenna's debut E.P. out via Last Ride Records. Featuring the excellent 2024 5-track E.P. on Side A, plus 2 vinyl exclusive remixes on Side B. These are the final batch of the first vinyl pressing (300 copies only).
"The work of vocalist Shogun has seen no shortage of deserved acclaim since he came to prominence as Royal Headache's frontman in the 2010's, semi-accidentally securing himself a place as one of rock and roll's best contemporary singers. Since that band's dissolution late last decade, few have come close to capturing the balance between the disarmingly sincere soulfulness and irrepressible hardcore ferocity that makes him so unique.
But in Antenna, with their rabid and affecting blend of punk, garage and powerpop, he's found more than worthy foils to usher him back into the void he left. It's a rare thing to hear earnest, heartfelt punk rock done exactly right, and Antenna have hit the sweet spot between uncomplicated and uncompromising right out the gate. It may be their debut, and "promising" is always a tempting descriptor, but in this case it's inadequate; it's Antenna Time, and deliverance is upon us. "

The beloved 2008 album from Have A Nice Life - Deathconsciousness is finally back in print on vinyl! This new 2LP mint green press from The Flenser is housed in a thick glossy gatefold sleeve with poly-lined inner sleeves and a 75-page booklet. In stock now for $90, more info on the release below:
"In 2008, Have A Nice Life released their now cult classic Deathconsciousness LP to a whimper and critical non-interest, but slowly over the years it has become a force of influence and fanatic obsession. Seamlessly blending shoegaze, post punk, new wave, industrial and noise with unparalleled depth and weight.
The album is rhythmic, primal and expansive; a modern gloomy-post-punk masterpiece; a mediation on death, loss and unrequited love. Deathconsciousness feels more fresh and engaging with every listen and has held up as a remarkable piece of art.
The Flenser’s reissue of Deathconsciousness will be accompanied by a 75-page booklet detailing the dark and forgotten history of the Antiochean cult. Blurring the lines between novella, liner notes, and academic text, the zine itself presents an engrossing narrative."

The most elusive record in Florida metal band Death's discography - their 1995 magnum opus Symbolic - has finally been re-issued for it's 30th anniversary, marking the first time it's been pressed on vinyl in over 10 years!
We regularly stock Death's back catalogue via Relapse Records, but every few weeks we get asked the same question - "Can you get Symbolic in?"
For a variety of (what we assume are legal) reasons, only 6 out of 7 Death albums had been available for the past decade, with Symbolic the lone outlier and most sought after of the bunch.
Now at long last, you won't have to part with a small fortune via an obscure European re-seller on Discogs in order to complete your Death vinyl collection, with Roadrunner Records re-issuing this long out of print classic for the very agreeable price of $60.
Death (Official) - Symbolic (30th Anniversary Black Vinyl) out tomorrow (May 9th). Get in touch to secure a copy!

Finally back in print! GOD's My Pal 7" from 1988 is a genuine Australian rock & roll classic, an iconic slice of teen-punk from a band who dissolved only a bit over a year after the release of the record but has had a huge influence on Australian independent music for 37 years.
Re-issued earlier this year for the first time in over a decade, this 2nd edition pressed on BLUE vinyl with alternate cover and photo insert is now in-stock for $20. Only 1,000 pressed via Sorcerer Records and if they sell half as fast as the first batch did, they still might not the last the week. Get in quick!

Some late arriving copies of Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music, re-issued for RSD 2025, have just landed! An avant-garde work of early noise music, this controversial album hasn't been pressed on vinyl in 15 years, and personally we've never seen a copy of it through our store in at least 2 decades. Give us more of these weird, out of print rarities on Record Store Day instead of the same old albums repressed on picture disc vinyl, we say!
"Lou Reed’s Metal Machine Music is an album that stands out for its defiance of traditional music norms. Released in 1975 and described by Lester Bangs as “The greatest record ever made in the history of the human eardrum” (Creem, 1975), it challenged listeners and critics alike with its experimental approach. Now, to mark its 50th anniversary, a special vinyl edition is being launched as part of Record Store Day 2025, offering fans a chance to reconnect with this groundbreaking work."
Lou Reed - Metal Machine Music (RSD 2025 White & Black Marble 2LP) - $80
