What is your dream in life?

This question can be a little bit subtle as it doesn't have a specific answer. But as per our lesson, I will talk about my dream career. When I was a kid, having my father as an army and growing up in the military headquarters, I dreamed of becoming a soldier. I just adore everything I see. I find the profession amusing and extremely cool, having people greet and salute you whenever they see you around, the uniform, and even the equipment they use. I even salute the soldiers and cars I see on the road. Likewise, seeing the military training every morning. I just find everything fascinating.
However, as my age increases, I thought of becoming a civil engineer instead because of the influence of my sister which pursued the same profession. I ended up in the STEM strand in the engineering class.
But then again, my dream changed when I get to behold the beautiful profession of Architecture. And now, as I applied in college, I decided to apply to architecture.
Knowing my potential and abilities, having my desires and environmental influences, and discerning what career will make me grow as a person. I now decide to pursue Architecture. This is now my dream career that I imagine doing five years from now. And I hope and pray that this decision I made is what God wants me to do and I shall grow.

Our Only Treasure is our Families

The story of Tanging Yaman is a very inspirational story of how families fight, respect, and love each other. Just like any other family, my family also experiences those kinds of problems and conflicts. But despite all the difficulties we are facing, at the end of the day, we still have each other by our side, helping, guiding, and loving us. I'm just grateful that God is the center of our family. God gives peace, joy, and love in our hearts that keeps us from all bad things that might happen. In every fight, there should be someone brave enough to say sorry. In every problem, there should be someone wise enough to think of a solution to the problem. In every weeping, there should be someone strong enough to give a shoulder to lean on and encourage everyone. THAT IS FAMILY. With God in the center of it, everything will be alright.

Kwentong Jollibee "Apo"

The story that got me the most was the commercial titled "APO". I grew up with my parents and only knew my grandfather on my mother's side which lives with my aunt. My grandmother (mother's side) died when I was just 2 years old, while I never even saw my grandparents on my father's side in person. So I was touched when I saw how loving his grandparents were. I've always wanted to have loving grandparents who are always taking my side but I got none. But despite that, I am still blessed to have loving parents who never fail to make me feel loved and important.

5 LOVE LANGUAGES TEST RESULT

This was the result I got upon taking the test and I solely agree with it. Hearing sweet words, being touched, receiving gifts, or being served isn't what I determine love for. It is when we spend quality time with our loved ones that make me feel loved. Though all 5 love languages are significant, quality time is what I prefer more than the four other love languages because time is one of the greatest and hardest things you could ever give to a person. Maybe because I am family-oriented and can't stand being alone, that's why I like being with people than their gifts, words, or services.
TAKE AWAY 4TH GRADING Day 7
Some find being a leader fancy because you'll have people obeying you or you'll be more appreciated and acknowledged if you're "THE LEADER", but we ought to disregard the adversities leaders experience just to make everything harmonious for everyone.
They make a way when everyone can't find one. They lead the way for everyone to be on the right path. They sacrifice themselves just to give comfort to others. Well, I'm talking about A REAL LEADER, on the other hand, not all leaders experience such things, because some are leaders just to have the privileges its title can give.
What's important is we understand the value of a leader and their sacrifices before we judge or complain about their works and decisions.

Take Away Day 4
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:6-7
I am more of a calm person than an overthinker. That is my way of surviving this society where people ponder the judgment and opinions of others. Despite that, I can't escape stress. That is a person's nature. But unlike other people who stress over tasks and activities that they should do, I stress over things that I shouldn't do, like using most of my time for unnecessary things, and even not following what other people do. I am stressed over those things because I like to create myself and not let other people do so. I want to control who I'll become and not listen to other's opinions. And I know that that's not good. Mutualism is necessary for our social life.
Stress, worries, and anxiety never fail to fill our minds always. We think about things too much. But the only answer to our negative thoughts is prayer. In every problem that we are going through, instead of thinking, we should pray and give it all to God. We have a powerful mind and a deceitful heart. If we let it control our lives, things would be so much worse.

Take Away Day 3
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” - Ecclesiastes 3:1
I'm in a stage where I question everything, whether it be myself or the things I see around me. Unfortunately, we're in this time of pandemic where we can't go outside our houses and are stuck with our online activities. That is tough for me, especially that I am not a fan of social media. The things that I see on the internet about my peers are so unpleasant for me. I want to be different. That's why I don't join the wave. My desire to form myself into a better person is always in my head that hinders me from exploring and socializing with other people.
The adolescent period is part of one's growth. Everything that is happening around us is by God's plan and will. We may have struggles and problems, but those things are there to make us grow stronger. As we live our daily lives, we should remember that God is always there when we need him, and what's important is we are growing stronger in life and faith.

Take Away Day 2
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” - 1 John 1:9
While reading the question our teacher gave us, I tried thinking of someone that I hold a grudge to that I need to forgive. I am not perfect but I honestly can’t think of anyone. But then I realize, it is I whom I should forgive. I have made a lot of things that made my God’s heart in pain. We all have sinned and we should repent from everything that we’ve done wrong.
God loves us, and he is faithful and just to forgive us only if we confess our sins to him. I hope you have an idea how much God loves you...

Personal Development Take Away Day 1
We have powerful minds that can change everything with just a single thought.
This day is the first day of our class in Personal Development and I was rather shocked while listening to the topics. I enjoy watching psychology videos and other stuff so I was glad to know that we have a subject like that.
As my introverted and timid self, I am usually misunderstood. And this personality that I have is all because of my way of thinking. I am indeed guilty when our teacher asked if we compare ourselves to others. We think so lowly of ourselves without knowing that the person we are comparing to have insecurities and flaws of their own too. Our minds control our actions, and even how we react to things. Thinking too much can destroy our belief in ourselves because as we think and fill our minds with comparison and negative thoughts, we are slowly losing self-confidence. We just need to know that we are unique and wonderfully made by God and that’ll be enough.
.....
Our teacher asked us to draw at the beginning of our class, and this is what I drew. Though I wasn’t able to show it on cam but I drew a simple and blank canvas as an object that represents me.
Some people say that I am so mysterious, and I think that is because I’m often silent. I look at people, observing, while they talk their thoughts out. I am a canvas that you may think is blank and nothing but once you paint something on me, I can be a masterpiece. I don’t think I am the only person like that. Everyone has their own blankness, but once you get to know the person and create something with them, you’ll see how beautiful they will turn out.
