My fav place - not because I’m vain, but because I LOVE my industry. I’m imperfect, not at the top of my game anymore, but can bring out anyones natural beauty while still maintaining their persona - so they look in the mirror and feel it’s them at their best, not them just overly made-up. I love taking my time, doing full facial cleanses and massages, exfoliating and fully moisturizing prior to even starting to think about color…you can’t build a beautiful home without a sturdy foundation. I am intricate, I am careful, I am picky, I am exact. So I haven’t been out of the house much - admittedly, Omicron has me a little freaked out. I’ve already had COVID once and my body didn’t do well - without a doubt I should’ve been in the hospital. I have oxygen at home though, and I HATE being stuck in the hospital, so I push my limits much further than most. The last time I walked into the ER my O2 was at 58% and the doctor couldn’t believe I was functioning and walking around….less than 60% is my general rule for the hospital. BUT, my oxygen didn’t really drop so I bared it. I’m not sure my body could handle round 2…and I know too many people in far better health than me that are in the hospital, close to death, and on ventilators. I’m not ready to go yet. *NO EDITS*NO FILTERS* Amazing what a lil primer and eye tightener can do, right?! Literally two products, neither of which are foundation, make a world of difference, and one is a skincare product! I LOVE the way that @strivectin Hyperlift Eye opens up my eyes without leaving any residue behind, and @benefitcosmetics #porefessional takes care of smoothing out the rest! Over 40, I can’t stress this enough - the more makeup you put on your face the older you look, it’s no bueno rapido.
